Some more bits decluttered yesterday, but too hot to do much. Not much time today as I did the food shop this morning, but hoping to get a bit of time this afternoon to continue the decluttering (still upstairs). Maybe I'll reach downstairs at some point! DD has done a fair bit of colouring and managed to work through a number of pens which is helpful!4 - pens used up
1 - unused cleaning cloth (Buy Nothing)
2 - plant clips I don’t use (charity bag)
1 - glass bottle I never use (Buy Nothing)
1 - sticker book used up

I guess it shows just how much excess I had in store - mainly kids stationery, packaging, kitchen cupboards and bathroom cupboards.2025 decluttering: 3,452🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Monday: rained at 04:00 but only a short, light shower. Even though temperatures are lower today - 16°C to 25°C & there is a cooling breeze it still feels too warm as the humidity is 55% ☹️ DH has cancelled DSis’s dental appointment as she would struggle on the Central Line (the 10th circle of hell in hot weather 🥵) DH also received a call from his niece G cancelling our visit next Tuesday as she is having air conditioning fitted to her house & it is the only time the chap can fit her into his schedule for months. Plus she is having her garden sorted out - patio etc. DH is now spending some time sorting out the garage. He has also fed the worms. I will catch up with the cheerleading a bit & then join him in the garage.
Excellent decluttering florianatwobob 👏 Well done on reducing your TBR pile 🙂
vulpix, hopefully you got some sleep last night 🤞 Excellent work both packing & decluttering 👏 I do hope MrV is helping out despite still working 😉 Mind you I suppose it does mean that he is earning some pennies which will help towards the renovations when you move 😊 Hopefully you found a few jobs for DSS to during his impromptu visit 😉😉 It is pleasing to hear that the Ukrainian lady is settled although I am sad to hear about her daughter. Will continue to pray that they will be able to return home at some time in the not too distant future 🙏 Well done continuing your sit-ups & reaping the rewards of toning your body 😊 Lovely photo ☺️ the cat looks sooooo comfortable 😂
florianatwobob, cheeky neighbour’s cat 😂
Excellent work decluttering clothing & books, Floss 👏 Sorry to hear that you aren’t sleeping well due to the heat 😔 Hopefully the weather will cool & the humidity will also fall 🤞
Fizz2015, sorry to hear about the sunburn 😔 I remember it is especially painful on the top of your feet 😣 Hopefully it is a lot cooler today & you have had some rain 🤞
Very funny Brie 😂
London_1, hope you enjoyed the tennis 😊 Like you I was wondering how on earth the spectators would cope in the heat 🥵 I am imagining that the St John’s Ambulance volunteers were kept very busy. I will be round later to taste the tomatoes 😉
Very droll QueenJess 😂
Soontobeoap, oh wow 🤩 he is gorgeous 😻
TC77, oh crikey DD2’s departure came around quick 😥 Are you following her flight? Perhaps you can just box up the bits & pieces she left lying around & stow the box in her room 🤔 Good luck with progressing your time sensitive frogs 🍀
Dizzycap, great work during your early morning garden decluttering & tidying 👏 Sorry to hear that babyface has injured herself 😔 she is determined to keep you worrying about her 😞 Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
Only 5 posts left but brain has started to shut down so will post & run. Please stay safe in this hot weather 🙏

Gotta crack on VxDH and I do Ad-break chores too, except that I watch the Beeb more than commercial channels. Our Late cat also created dead-spot places in the garden, but this season the birds have been gradually eating my lettuce leaves, which didn't happen when we had a cat.
I've decluttered the School uniform that's not needed after the move to my neighbours who also have kids at the same school, and spend some fun time playing the train game with friends (proper name "The Great Game of Britain"). It's school holidays here so my posting may be erratic now - will probably be back before the move though ...

sigh.....
One of our water butts died a tragic death. It developed a drip near the tap which then became a split somehow that emptied the thing within about an hour.
So off I toddled to the garden centre for a replacement, pleased to have got one of the nice big ones and at a good price despite not having the bits normally needed knowing I had those already on the old one. Just tried to set up the new one and discover that being a "slimline" version the pipe from the downdrain is too low and that as it should drain on to another butt there will be about a quarter of it always empty. So sigh.....it needs to be returned and something else purchased instead.
BUT it does mean I'm decluttering a water butt!! How? No idea. It's got a layer of juicy mud at the bottom which means it's not a good candidate to put in the back of a car. I'll see if I can find a place to leave it upside down for a few days so it can both drain and dry before putting it in the OH's monster car. Much cooler today so I spent the morning in my sewing room putting all my pattern pieces into their correct envelopes, then deconstructed a duvet cover and pillowcases so that I can reuse the fabric for a beach outfit. I’m hoping to get at least 2 blouses and a pair of shorts out of it.10

Hi, a successful afternoon yesterday. DSS helped us rearrange the storage shed to store the packed garden stuff boxes and some kitchen stuff boxes at the back. It involved moving stuff Mr V will use for work to the front. We also dismantled the outside electrics that Mr V cobbled together for the outside Christmas tree lights.Things were distributed or earmarked for distribution. A camping stool for the chazzer and 6 yes 6 new golf umbrellas for giving away. 2 of them already gone. We have acquired one of these every time we buy a car! There is a bag of makeup to go back to the casualties union. Their things always seem to be at weekend and that is when Mr V works. We have come up with a plan on how to move the half sheds to the new house. Instead of taking them apart we will lift them onto the back of our neighbours pick up and take them across town as they are. Beverly Hill Billies stylee. Allegedly 9 weeks till the move.
I have sold a lamp on FB. Against my better judgement I have said I will post it. I need to find a box today. Also I need to visit Mum to try and do an online identification thing for the solicitor. groan.
Mr V is on a roll and is packing up the studio. 4 banana boxes filled. Run out of boxes for now.
Soontobeoap, that's a cute little fella. We have boxes and boxes of buttons at craft club that no one ever uses, hmmm.
Today's activity finished, knitting to do. I am doing a June ,July,August challenge for the gift of warmth. I can churn the goods out but have a basket of things needing sewing up. It's not making much impression on the wool stash.
Here's Fluffy in another fave spot, like you YBR a no grow area.
Oh, I have bought some drawers for our new bedroom, the same make as the bed head and the bedside drawers. With the light fitting that room is done and has cost £80.

Started out cloudy with a lovely breeze and the threat of rain. I thought it’s bound to rain as I pegged out every pillowcase and the pillow cover thingies and the fleece blankets. Nope. No rain, not a drop or a dribble. So I made the most of it and put the kitchen floor mats in the machine and washed them too! Then I had to wash the kitchen floor. All I am decluttering this week is my energy and some dirt. Nets have been washed - I do like a nice bright white net curtain. Windows cleaned (inside only as I’m a bit broken), All bedding washed. Ironing done - that ALMOST killed me. Washed the big heavy comforter and duvet off one bed and thankfully got them dried outside. Tomorrow is the other duvet which is a feather filled one.Hope everyone is doing okay in this heat xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Good evening all
Some great decluttering & cleaning going on! I hope everyone is managing to cope with the heat, although the nights have, at times, felt hotter than during the day!
Hopefully a little rain tomorrow and a lower temperature. Can't wait to put some jeans on in the morning
@ vulpix - Loving the adorable Fluffy picsI too have been decluttering muck & washing mats, throws, cushion covers, babyface beds, blankets, harnesses & fluffy toys - Missy babyface always has a long list of demands!I haven't had any decluttering sales for the past 2 days but I'm planning on getting back to listing more items tomorrow as I haven't put any new stuff up for ages. This is the last push of decluttered items for sale before I'm fully clutter free
Babyface is making good progress and I took her for another check up today to make sure all was going in the right direction as she still has problems at times putting her full weight on her back leg. However, Missy got caught out tonight with her strained back left leg muscle (Oooooo it's getting late! Time for a nice mug of coffee before we potter off to bed. Hope to pop back in soon. Take care all & ta-ta for now xxx) I gave her a little extra pain relief booster to knock her out for a couple of hours and whilst she was snoring the house down, I decided I would get her doggy stroller out to take her out for a stroller walk. Next thing I know while sitting having a mug of coffee, I can hear something moving about in the house. So off I crept to take a look and there was Missy doing fruit loops around the bedroom in excitement about going out! I stood there and said, "I thought you had a pulled muscle Missy?" She froze, quickly thought about it, and dropped to the ground with her back left leg sticking out!
Errrr I don't think so! I haven't laughed so much in ages & it was well needed - typical Daxie clown
We've been out tonight with Missy in the doggie stroller as she still needs to be off her legs as much as possible for the next 5 days to heal; although she's probably now undone all the good healing that's already taken place over the past 3 days with her antics this evening!
Typical!
