Many moons ago I lost the most wonderful friend in horrendous circumstances during an already abysmal year.
My beautiful Sammy was just the kindest and gentlest soul.. (Black Sprocker Spaniel) I still feel the ache when I see others like him.. (especially those with a full white bib)
For me, getting to tell stories of his hilarious mischief and love for my boys (& the cats) keeps him close always..

I absolutely love the shoe bench @vulpix. I have shoe box bench seat envy.

Have decluttered a lot of card making stuff over the last 2 days. It's amazing the mess that I can make with double sided tape!

@Muddy_Walker I love the photo of them in the water. They're family though, not just pets so it's normal to be so upset. Our cat co-parented with me for almost 16 years. She threatened anyone that even raised their voice to ds (including me) and I cried all over again when we brought her ashes home last week.

Thanks for sharing the photos - particularly the action shot!!   I so would love to be jumping around in some cool water today and dogs would just make it more fun.  (& that's from a cat person!!)

Pleased that I freegled the 2 fans found in the garage.  Had one person ask but needed to pick them up this morning and I hadn't even got them out of the garage AND we were out this morning in any case.  When I told her it wasn't convenient I expected her to come back with an alternative but all I got was "well I'll be at work later".  Hmmmmm.....   So very pleased when I got another message and it was from the same guy that took a suitcase last month - very nice, pleasant, prompt, jolly.  Amazing that it is now just an hour since he messaged about them and already he's come and gone!!!

Yesterday I got one email account down fro.. 2.1k.to 1.8k and today a pen ran out! On way home from work so doubt any more done when home.

A small update for this evening.  I decided to try finding 10 things to get rid of in 10 mins.  I'm not generally a fan as I don't enjoy the pressure, but actually I managed to find enough pretty quickly.  May give it a go again.  I then went through the instruction folder after being inspired by a video online.

4 - packaging too small to be useful (recycled)
3 - books DD doesn’t read anymore (charity bag)
2 - perished underwear (recycling)
1 - bra inserts I won’t ever use (recycling)
23 - instructions I don’t need (recycled)
2 - paperwork not needed (shredded)

Just popped in and landed on the very sad post by Muddy_Walker. @ Muddy_Walker - I'm so very sorry for your heartbreaking loss of such a loyal and loving companion, dearest Pepper  who you loved unconditionally right to the end   It's always such a great shock losing a devoted friend & as for the heartbreak, there are no words  - I need to get a coffee and just sit a while after reading Muddy's post xxxxx
