Hi all, slower day today but I got things on my list done. Shopped for some bits to go with the baby blanket and they are wrapped and bagged with a card from my stash waiting by the door, cake decorating tomorrow but I will have to leave early as I have a dentist appointment. One of my loose teeth fell out while I was on holiday and the other one is driving me crazy so it's coming out tomorrow. Also did a food shop for essentials and some fruit, all put away and 2 LDFPA. Also ordered my meds and had a session of self care, my hsnds were like sandpaper 😂
OH was out this evening so I took the chance to clear some stuff off the planner while doing a session of ironing 😁
@Muddy_Walker big hugs
Right off to bed now
Hugs to everyone who would like one

@Muddy_Walker - Big hugs to you, Rogan and your family at the sad loss of your dear companion Pepper. Dogs are so stoic that they don’t seem to show us that there is anything wrong until late in their illness, making it an even bigger shock. I am so sorry that you didn’t have a better time with your vet clinic too xx10

- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Here is yesterday’s post - although I never quite got going when it came to cheerleading 😔
Tuesday: A bright & sunny start - low of 13°C rising steadily to 23°C by 16:00. Up, washed & dressed by 11:05 & have my first cuppa. Already been asked once if I am human 😉 I have crept up to 90% available space on TV planner 😊 As it was a lovely sunny day DH (wearing his hat 👏) has trimmed our hedge & ndn hedge & has used the garden vacuum to tidy up. Whilst I used my whizzy garden tool to tackle the weeds on the front path & have managed 3 quarters of the path in 30 minutes 🙂 DH is now mowing the front ‘lawn’ (I use the term very loosely 😂) Dinner was cold pork, mash & baked beans. Wudupa.

Lovely cheerleading Liverpool_Anne 😊 You have been busy with some excellent decluttering 👏 especially in the garden 👏 This “The Christmas stuff is enough to keep me going for the rest of my life and will probably form part of my estate when I die 😂. Maybe I can ask for my coffin to be wrapped in it 😂.” had me in stitches 🤣
Great decluttering Soontobeoap 👏
Sleep tight 😴

I’m curious as to what’wudupa’ means? I did a search and found it in a lot of posts but no explanation!11

Last night there was a programme about Johnny Vegas and his collections - I did see it as I don't have that channel, but I read the review of it in The Times this morning. This bit hit home:
Review of Johnny Vegas’s ‘Little shop of antiques’ – He said ‘people…always use the word declutter; I see it as emptying my heart’ It goes on to say ‘obsessive collecting was ‘filling a void a little bit’.
This is exactly the way my late DM felt about her treasures. She had a houseful of stuff, all very organised and tidy so not a hoarder; every little thing she had she wanted. Trying to encourage her to declutter when alive was met with distress. I blame the war years. When the time came for me to sort her house after death I found it difficult and, even now more than four years later, still feel the guilt.
It's a weird thing and not easy to do so I admire all those here who are tackling it. It's inspiring to read and follow.

Hi, a rare treat to be able to post.
Liverpool Anne, I LOVE the idea of having your coffin wrapped in Christmas paper. I will have to steal that idea myself!
Thank you for the offer of help with the move. We don't have a date yet as it's a chain of at least 5 so it will take some juggling I think. Not stressed at all about moving the stuff in the house but all the pots and garden stuff is stressing me. I need to chill. I brought it all here with the help of bit by bit so moving it again is doable. I think there is less stuff than we brought too. Mr V has been taking a box of his stuff (wires and cables!) to where he works every week, so that is a big weight off my mind. I will send you details of the new house to your phone. I am scared to send a link by dm here since I sent Mrs SD a photo of us and it appeared on the thread.
YBR, you are doing well with your packing. I think I must have an engineers brain too, I am very well organised. I live by a list!
Another 3 boxes packed in our room, clothes. Christmas jumpers and winter stuff. Thank goodness the buyers want the bedroom furniture and I don't have the massive problem of dismantling it all to get it out of the house. She asked to buy the little drawers the TV stands on too, so in effect there will only be a couple of beds and some drawers to take with us, oh and 2 small sofas. Banana boxes are my friend.
Another bag started for the charity shop, the bag included. Currently it has a new Sweep puppet as in Sooty and, which I had as a gift a few years ago. Sadly a pair of white linen trousers out as I didn't realise until I washed them that I have managed to get green gloss paint on them. Cross with myself about that. Even if they did come from the charity shop.
We are eating down the freezer. 2 empty drawers now which I have filled with sandwich boxes and loaves.
Need to get a wriggle on. I need to move my various "piles of clothes" off the bedroom floor. and into boxes. It was last nights job but my neighbour came round. Her Mum has died. My cleaner comes today. We are going to my Mum's house to put the sewing machine base back together, paint a couple of bedside drawers from fb, get the staples out of the dining chair seats, continue fixing a fraying rug and owt else on my list. Later we are collecting a dressing table off fb if it will fit in the car. The car looks big but the wheel arches in the boot make it smaller than you would expect.
Love to all Vx:12
