Today I have decluttered a few photos of people that I can't identify (all since 2000, not family history). I am coming across lots of duplicates, so expect more in the coming weeks!
I hope that the rehab really helps MrF and that he will be back home with you soon @Florenceem - but not before he is able to cope safely with the stairs etc.16 -
Hi all, reasonable day spent doing some admin stuff. More things tried to sort out the union thing but still a work in progress. An appointment booked with the practise nurse for Friday and I made contact with the builder to remind him to send a quote for the understairs toilet. Then did a sweep of the emails, 200 deleted. Searched the local neighbours site for a recommendation for a gardener and made contact and he is coming out next week to dig up a couple of plants. I can do a lot of the work in the garden but I am struggling with the heavy digging so decided to just pay someone 😁. I am just waiting to hear about the loft now 😁. I have volunteered to help with the mosaic for the Hillsborough day at the footy 😁
Tomorrow morning I have the cake decorating so had to go to the sm to get roll out icing, icing sugar and a cake board. I have packed a bag with the stuff I need to take ready for the morning and tomorrow evening I am going to the footy so a busy day😁.
Right off to bed now, hugs to anybody who would like one

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Whatever happened to the first quarter of the year 😥 Tuesday was another bright sunny day but quite cool as maximum temperature was 13°C (but a chilly breeze made it feel like 10°) with a low of 6°C. DH went out at midday - made his way to Ealing Broadway & then got on a SuperLoop bus back to East London & was out for 4.5 hours. Last night I managed to knit 2 bottle cosies. I know the pattern by heart now so will make a couple more to use up the yarn. Spent the afternoon napping & watching TV. Dinner was gammon hocks, oven chips & peas for DH & DSis whilst I had fried eggs rather than gammon. Wudupa.

Happy_Kitties, i can confirm that you have 3 gold stars - 2 for neutral items decluttered + 1 for general decluttering 😊 Those mugs must have been particularly ugly if your cats have taken to breaking them 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏
Dizzycap, a very busy Monday - no wonder you were exhausted 🥱 So pleased to hear that Taz Devil aka Taz Tyke aka babyface passed her vet visit with flying colours ☺️ Sorry to hear that you didn’t get much if any sleep on Monday night 😞Fingers crossed that your meds start working soon 🤞
Fallen behind again ☹️ so will try to get into a proper routine 🤞 Sleep tight 😴

flippy flop all
up early as usual with another night of struggling so feeling very fatigued this morning. Loaded the washing machine last night which is now chugging along as I declutter a mug of coffee and babyface declutters her breakfast after going out to the loo & having kissy cuddles. All good on the babyface healing front and hopefully, a reduction of pain and inflamation medication today, but will keep a beady eye on her as she's absolutely full of it this morning, so what's new?!
@ @Florenceem - I hope things imrpove with Mr.F and that he gets the support & care he needs to be able to return home and be safe@ Liverpool_Anne - Lovely to see you and great efforts on the chasing and booking which never seems to be easy these days. Enjoy your cake decorating & footyI'm hoping to potter about in the garden this morning; which is looking absolutely beautiful, as I need to sort out the water features and do a little clearing, cleaning, & watering which shouldn't take long but I will need to take sensible breaks in between tasks so what should take an hour will probably end up taking me 4-5, but I can't complain as it means I get to have coffee breaks sitting on the swing chair with babyface and cluttering up on a little sun in peaceWill be decluttering off another 8 parcels to postie this morning along with all the recycled packaging, so double bubble win. I've also broken down one of the MWoD storage decluttering boxes, so I'm feeling more positive that decluttering is still taking place on a daily basis while trying to keep on top of the basic HH chores as best as I canSorted through mail & papers and filed, shredded & emptied the recycling bag along with the usual kitchen bin clean and clear last night before I finally pottered off to bed in the early hours.
Time for another coffee before I begin the tasks of the day starting with pegging out the washing as it looks like it's going to be another lovely sunny dayWishing everyone a nice & peaceful decluttering day and hugs to all who are feeling ill and under the weather at the moment xxxxx

Good morning all 👋
Still chuntering along here - 4 bags of perennial weed out last week for collection and garden work has increased as much as the aches will allow. Inside it's the weekly accumulation of cardboard etc that has been leaving.
More money decluttered yesterday, but this time for enjoyment. 😁 I took a long-term friend out for lunch and we had a wonderful morning in Carmarthen and then the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Glorious sunshine all day and even the cold edge on the breeze had diminished so a wonderful day.
Two frogs eaten this morning. I managed to navigate the surgery's appointment system - and got up early enough to be able to access the online e-system, so I'm now awaiting a response. My background aches have become so persistent that I think it's time to do something about them. I've managed with self-treatment for years, mainly because of being in France and finding the system there difficult because, while I had reasonable language skills I never felt I could explain well enough. Also, while the pain/ache is chronic it wasn't really bad. Now it's effecting my sleep and my working ability. I just don't feel I want to be on full-time painkillers plus all the other things prescribed in order to take the full-time painkillers. But, I need to talk to someone and find out the options. So that's what I'm hoping will be the outcome. Needless to say, there's no option for that on the yes/no questionnaire and the telephone (real person) system is for emergency appointments only, which mine obviously isn't. Doctor's surgeries have changed so much since I was last going there back in 2006. 🤣
Second frog was getting the blood test brought forward for my beautiful senior cat, Jewel. Both cats had their boosters and annual check-up a week or so ago and were both fine however, since the weekend Jewel has become ravenous and started peeing around the place again which I think will signify that her hyperthyroidism has got worse. That's playing on my mind as I'm not sure if her medication can be increased of if despite her age an operation might be suggested. Blood test is in a weeks time. So currently hoping that Ernie will smile kindly on me this month. 🤣
Still no money from the French bank but as it's the end of the month I now have statements showing things have all been consolidated and even a partial reimbursement of account fees. 😁 I now have to wait for the notification paperwork to reach the top of the to-be-actioned pile - anyone who has had dealings with organisations in France will understand. 🤣🤣 Slowly but surely it seems to be getting there.
My 'problems' are so minor compared to so many others on here so I send my loveto all who are dealing with so much more.
Well done to all with the sorting and decluttering; so often we actually forget about all the day-to-day things we do. Having been through a period of depression in my life I experienced what happens when in reality you do nothing. 😱 But somehow we manage to discount so much of our everyday endeavours when we should be celebrating them as wins. Well that's my mantra now. Doesn't always work but I try to remember it. 😁 DxAiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget
