Been to count with C at SA.
Only 2 weeks counting to do but we have so many interruptions. Plus the noise from 40 toddlers/babies and their parents in the adjoining area is loud.
Came home and wrapped & labelled 4 V sales.
Mr F phoned me - he has been moved to another ward. Mr F hadn't asked why he had been moved. When Mr F asked he was told - where they assess patients for discharge or rehab. I said to Mr F - only one of those is relevant to us and that the staff need to speak to me. I am expecting someone to either ring or come and see me this afternoon when I visit - I am ready for them!Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

It seems as though I've not kept up with the thread and been struggling to declutter.
Other than housework, rubbish and recycling.
I've had a couple of bits in, not much, but recently 2 books.
I've had curtains given to me that are are too long that I will re-home.
I've put 3 boxes of unopened sandwich bags, 2 boxes of ikea clips plus a pile of ikea tupperware go onto the recycling WhatsApp group and they all have takers, so they will hopefully be gone by Sunday night.
I'm planning to have see what I can do with more decluttering and study during the easter break.

Mrs SD thanks for tracking my numbers.
Will try and find a few things to go later.
My paperwork Currently covers a large.no of rooms and items of furniture. I may post a pic to motivate myself of the main area.

Thank u Mrs SD for my third gold star I think? Losing track of stars!Thought I would post before we start a new month
General decluttering
131) big bag of cat sachets taken to the recycling point yesterday
132) another mug broken by the cats🙈. Out of a whole new set at the end of last year including two spare aswell, only one mug is left. I’m guessing the cats were not a big fan of the design
133) lots of packaging disposed of into recycling.
134) another item sold on V
Generally not really decluttering as they were in and out in one day- big bag of pet foods taken to the rescue sanctuary collection point in local supermarket
It’s been a slow month for general decluttering, so many other things going on. But did chomp one frog…and sorted out a tadpole!!!
Neutral items
25 items out to help 2 friends and another 20 items sent to a good cause today
248+ 45=293 neutral items out of the house
I’ve still more neutral items coming in including toiletry bags being donated and shoeboxes to make up for Eastern Europe/Ukraine. The house will look incredibly empty by OctoberDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evenin' AllWhat a beautiful sunny day
Just what the doctor ordered and so good for mental healh, especially if you can potter in the garden for while or go for a short peaceful walk xxx
@ TC77 - Sorry to hear about your 2 cats:-( I hope they both get sorted & on the mend soonThanks also for reminding me in your post to take back some meds to the pharmacy - I've just got them ready now ready to declutter off tomorrow
@ Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I said to babyface tonight "Are you a Taz Devil?" and she went absolute fruit-loop nuts playing tag baby & tag treats through the house for 10 minutesThe 'vocals' are coming along nicely - her usual tones mixed in with Barry White gruff whailing
@ florianatwobob - I too had a thing with my main Mr.Tes-co mini drop and take library when I was decluttering books. Never stepped foot in the store again once they were all recycled- Sorry Mr. T but now I pop to Mr. Sains to get recycled packaging for decluttering as I don't have to walk what feels like 2 miles around you to get any
Decluttering Today:babyface check-up this morning and surgeon very pleased with all the wonderful healing and care she's getting. After a full examination she said babyface is exceedingly healthy & well looked after- Yes, and I've got the war wounds and grey hair to prove it!
but I wouldn't do it any differently if I had to do it all over again
Decluttered grass off the lawn, removed a few large weeds from the boards and was surprised there weren't more! Long watered all the tubs, cleaned out all the birdbaths & filled up feeders in the back garden, then long watered out the front and cleared up the last of the fallen leaves with the noisey leaf blower but I just coudln't bend down today to save my life, so that's the way it was!I'm certainly paying for my efforts with chronic hip and spine pain tonight
After having a shower, I decluttered 2 mugs of coffee before decluttering 2 Dr's appointments this afternoonThe same set of tests with communication from different specialist depts and waiting on new meds with some that work, some that don't, and some that work for 2 days before I become resistant to them, so a very mixed bag healthwise. After all those shnannigans I got into my PJ's and off to bed with babyface I went and I slept 5 solid hours before waking up at 9pm in time for feeding babyface who refused to be fed by my mother - little Miss Taz Tyke!
, coffee, taking babyface out the front while I put out food for the foxes, decluttered 2 huge piles of clean washing back into its rightful places, emptied & cleaned the kitchen bin, sprayed over the kitchen surfaces, draining board, dish rack, filling the kettle and boiling it while wiping down the fridge freeser doors, ridges, and shelves before another coffee
The saddest part of the day was I couldn't remember for the life of me whether I had eaten dinner or not and had to ask my mother before she went to bed!? God forbid I have to start making a list of daily meals and tick them off as I eat
That's the end of another very long day so it's time for one last coffee before bed. Wishing everyone a peaceful & restful night xxxxx Tiddly squat for now xxxx
Edit: Still awake at 3am feeling totally fatigued but have far too much chronic pain to be able to sleep. Short of standing on my head, there's not much else I can do to try and relieve it, even with additional stretching, heat & medsWell ain't that the devil in disguise!
and now the dawn chorus has just started which is lovely to,listen to, but I should be voluntarily awake to hear it
- I'm going to have to accept that there's an exceedingly high possibility that I'll be in bed for most of today

Hi all, just reporting in while I am awake 😂. Not massive amounts out over the past couple of days. I spent a lot of time trying to sort the union thing but one of the contact numbers doesn't connect and I have had to leave voice mail messages on the other as well as sending an email and not yet been able to make contact with the member. . Today I decluttered a lot of blood tests. Atm they are only monitoring 1 thing but I think they just print off the same test form so everything gets tested 😂. The wrist is improving but I am still needing the painkillers so sometimes a bit dozy 😂.. Between times I have 3 LDFPA, bathroom bin, lr bin, lr recycling, kitchen bin, kitchen recycling a bag of garden chopped into the green bin and a bag of rubbish from around the garden binned, the rhubarb was planted into a very big pot as I am not sure yet where it will go. 2 lavender plants decluttering to ln and another potted up for a friend but I won't count that yet as it hasn't gone yet. I seem to have spent quite a bit of time sorting things but they haven't moved out yet 😂. I have ordered a knitting pattern for a cardigan. I have had the yarn for a couple of years but it is self striping and I didn't want horizintal stripes I wanted vertical so I have finally found a sleeve to sleeve pattern that I like so ordered it and will start it after I have finished the current baby blanket. I have done a bit of crochet but it was slow going with the wrist issue 😁
The clock change always confuses me. Some of my clocks change themselves, some need to be done manually so I still haven't got them all sorted but now I am retired unless I have an appointment I don't use an alarm but rely on the daylight to wake me 😂
Mother's day is always a bit sad for me as is father's day since I lost my parents and more recently OH's though I always make a point of reminding my dnephew so no matter where he is he will phone my dsis, he's currently in Thailand 😁. My dniece doesn't need reminding 😁.
@Brambling I also have a book problem 😂
@Vulpix love the dolls, my favourite is Paddington 😁. Hope you enjoy your cruise 😁
@Florenceem well done on the table top sale and everything crossed that things continue to improve for Mr F and a suitable convalesent place can be found for him when he is well enough to go, hugs.
@Muddy_Walker lovely photos 😁 also I think the scarf is lovely and I am sure it will be appreciated 😁
Right off to bed now as I am falling asleep 😁
Hugs to everyone who would like one

@Dizzycap I do.hope you got back to sleep and the dr sorts.out meds that help..I think you need tlc like you've been giving babyface. So.glad.shes recovered so well.
Little.cat.on. medication for thyroid but put on so.much weight 2.85kg which is the most ever (she's 12 and went to.2.1/2.2).think being with dd1 in her flat and unable.to go out and just cuddled for 4 weeks help.. big cat is about 7.5kg before staying with dd1 so potentially.more. just going to.give.him chicken after starving yesterday.
@Liverpool_Anne hope you.got.back to sleep and monitoring doesn't flat anything to untoward.
Off to.do a little.before work
@Happy_Kitties that is a lot if mugs. I'm always inspired by your generosity. Think more.of.mine Will go in the cs bag!12 -
- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH went out for his walk & posted all my cards etc from the initial session of dealing with last week’s mail 👏 Spent the afternoon finishing 90% of my outstanding paperwork, just frogs left to deal with. Read magazines then went through one cubby hole of wall unit & recycled old magazines.
591 - 601 Eleven magazines - recycled
602 Half an inch of shredding
DH got back just before 17:00. I have started knitting a baby bottle cosy as I need a few more items to take to the CS to accompany the jewellery I sorted out. Dinner was a use up - cold park, mash & baked beans for DH & DSis & for me lo spaghetti stir fried with a tomato pesto sauce & grated mozzarella. Wudupa
602 - 603 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
604 - 605 Kitchen & lr detritus - binned
Excellent decluttering florianatwobob 👏
Florenceem, hope you & C managed to get the counting done even with the noise & interruptions 🤞Excellent work on the sales 👏 Hopefully it wasn’t too stressful a meeting with OT & doctors 🙏 Fingers crossed that MrF is moved to a rehab facility closer to home 🤞
