Gosh what a typo ( blaming predictive typing)
Glad my typo gave a few laughs. More like polo neck knickers here as I used to call my mum's. I decided middle age arrived when I sought big briefs and stopped getting out the side of the swimming pool and using the steps!

Came home - told Mr F that I won't be visiting tomorrow as I will be busy at SA. I will visit on Thursday.
Just had a phone call from the discharge area - had Mr F got a M & S carrier bag? The patient next door to Mr F has lost one. I knew that Mr F had a carrier but almost sure - not M & S. I rang Mr F who was in an ambulance moving to the rehab unit and asked if he had an M & S bag - he doesn't While I was speaking to Mr F - the hospital has tried to phone me twice - I expect about a carrier bag. Honestly - that hospital!I find it utterly disgraceful that any hospital would be far more concerned about an apparent missing M&S carrier bag than as is so blantantly obvious, its patients care & welfareNeighbour came to drop off 5 empty boxes which I put in the hallway - now named 'Decluttered Alley', ready to sort out later in the morning. The moment I sat down with a mug of coffee and said to Taz Babe "We'll go and sort out the boxes when I've had a coffee", I had 6 decluttering salesSo boxes used up nicely and just as I stood there thinking I need to make up a free Mr. Sains flatpack box, there was a knock on the door with a delivery and the 6th appropriate decluttering box. 6 parcels locked & loaded in Decluttered Alley ready to declutter off to postie tomorrow morning along with decluttered inner padding packaging - That's the way to do it!
I might just try that technique myself again later. I'll make up 4 boxes in anticipation of more decluttering sales probably undoing them again tomorrow

Hi all,
Not been online much. I've managed to catch this horrid flu virus that's been doing the rounds. I am wheezing like an old set of bag pipes.
Went to the Dr today and they said just give it time to clear up and if it gets any worse go back.
Really hope I feel better soon, got a gig on Thursday with my Sister and really been looking forward to it.
Haven't managed to keep up with all the posts.
Hope you are all well and those who aren't hope you feel better soon.Debt Free - 4th June 202513 -

Decided it was too nice today to tackle the dining room as planned and went to a local NT garden using my free volunteering entry card (very MSE 🙂) I even came home via the new Range and avoided buying anything 👏 the Tesco shop was more spendy even with a voucher.

Pick a part of your country you haven't seen before and save money at the same time. I've been to almost every part of the British Isles except Scotland beyond Inverness. There are a lot of wonderful places to visit, Stratford, Inverness, York, Belfast, and Hay on Wye still being my favorites.
May not have to wait until 2029 if he gets impeached and it works. Will also have to impeach the The Second Idiot who would take over though as he is awful. We are being run by a bunch of idiots over here. My best friend is considering moving to Scotland. She is worried about her Social Security (so am I - even if Idiot Number One says he has not plans to touch it. Not exactly known for being honest.)
Watching the news here is so depressing that it hard to get motivated to clean house or write books or even do family history. Slowing me down a lot so I am making lists and trying to keep up with what I put on it each day. But it is piling up on me. Roommate G helped me clean the refrigerator today - at least that was a start. Swept half of the kitchen floor. Cleaned up fingerprints. Need to write three letters and fill out two forms. Will be my afternoon projects.

@Brie - sounds good to me. Why they haven't declared him nuts, I don't know. Just worried by how things will turn out. My cousins in Canada have agreed with me. Most of them live in the western part of Canada, but they are starting to spread eastward. Great-uncle who went to Canada had 19 children - and they are multiplying like crazy. I have been to three of the family reunions up there.
Still decluttering though have a lot more to go. Have done 5 frogs already this morning. Have four more to go today. I hope. Will be taking roommate Di to doctor's appointment in an hour. Then home to do more cleaning of the house and then the rest of these frogs. Think they are multiplying here though.
Got rid of fifteen cardboard boxes yesterday. And had full trash bins today. But I am going to ask for help. A couple of people have volunteered to come and help move the boxes around so we can get the bookcases in place. Then we can start clearing much of what is in the living room. My goal is to have it done by Di's birthday - the 22nd of May.

@ _Dolly_Rocker_ - so sorry to hear you've got the flu virus - take it as easy as you can and get better soon
I bumped into a neighbour who I hadn't seen for a number of weeks and she caught Pneumonia from the hospital she'd taken her DH to for an appointment. She's now ok but DH has come down with it this morning. It seems as soon as the weather begins to get warmer, out come the viruses
@ Brambling - Your post tickled meShockingly, the older I've got, the smaller my underwear has become even though I'm far less active than I used to be. My theory is that unerwear is being made larger these days
Up and awake after an afternoon fatigue crashout sleep sessionNow deluttering a lovely large mug of tea. I really fancied it and now can't stop drinking it!
Getting ready to pop out at some point as I've got to collect a couple of inpost donations with the dolly trolly ready to drop off to the CS in the morning. Babyface is making excellent progess and knows her limitations, so her healing is much better than anticipated, although she does love her Mauka honey and I know full well that that's played an important part in her getting better, as as well as, good rest and plenty of snuggle kissy cuddles
Shall be resuming Minks Taz's weekly teeth cleaning tomorrow, which she loves, as I always make it into a new 'peggy' game which makes babyface actively involved in cleaning her own teeth and is great fun!
- The things I have to come up with
The new MSE weekly email has just arrived, so I'll be trying to catch up with that later xxx No more decluttering sales other than the 6 ready for collection, but I will be doing my usual decluttering HH bin and clean & kitchen spray and clean up run before bed, as usual
Hope everyone has a lovely peaceful decluttering evening and I hope that those who are ill and/or feeling under the weather, feel and get better soon xxxxxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 22/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing14 -
@BramblingI do love a wander around a NT gardenI think I forgot to declare 2 storage boxes in on Sunday from Buy Nothing... again, I don't need them right now, but I think they will become helpful for DD as they start to become stuff magnets when they get to school. I also picked up another cookbook today from Buy Nothing. That's two cookbooks in two days, but I've flicked through them and they are both really good, so will be permanent fixtures. Neither looks used. Not much else to report today; just chipping away at the tidying, washing and making sure I'm using everything. I mainly used up food related items today whilst I can remember what I discovered at the bottom of the freezer!Physical:
1 - paper, reused then recycledNew total 1,086
Use it up total 75
Net physical things in/(out) +78I've left some banana and chocolate mini loaf cakes in the tlc carriage (made from the recipe book I picked up from Buy Nothing yesterday and some bananas that were going black that I had chucked in the freezer and forgotten about until I defrosted it).2025 decluttering: 3,5045🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

@bramblng thank you for sharing the underwear story and glad you got to the NT garden. I've and EH membership but not really used it.
@weenancyinAmerica so glad you're getting so help as you so much. I think the phrase ' this too will pass' is important to remember, and hopefully with as little damage to everyone as possible!
