@Dizzycap - fantastic idea with making new tops from old. I think it looks great! Hope you are feeling better today.
@dND - good luck with the GP appointment. I hope you get some answers and options.@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - you have really cracked the pattern with the bottle warmers, they look lovely.@Muddy_Walker - gorgeous colours in that yarn.@Florenceem - it is good to hear that Mr F is doing well.I feel exhausted at the moment so I am hoping to just potter around today. Much the same as some of you, after a few busy days I crash. I have managed to get some heavy work done in the garden but it feels like the tip of the iceberg. I am struggling not to get too despondent but it does go hand in hand with the tiredness.13 -

Good morning 😊
I'm glad that you're feeling a bit better _Dolly_Rocker_ but don't overdo it.
Dizzycap I hope babyface is alright
Florenceem I hope that MrF continues to improve and that you have him home soon.
I crashed and burned a bit at the end of March. DS was in a lot of pain so we mostly just mooched around the house and went for drives. He went to the doctor on Tuesday and he has physio starting at the surgery from next Monday.
I did declutter 5 things on Saturday but that was all for the last three days of the month.
Also on Tuesday we cleared some drawers in DS's room. We removed 60 items! Well I did the removing while he said what could go and what could stay. Yesterday I took him to uni as he was only in for an hour and a half. I go for a walk while he does his classes then I bring him home. I'll be doing the same again today but he's not due in until this afternoon.
In a sudden burst of energy I have cleared two of my bedroom drawers this morning so that's 45 things out and two neat and tidy drawers left behind. I still have four more to do and some bits to try on to see if they're any use. The garden waste bin was emptied yesterday so I can do a bit of weeding and ivy chopping at the weekend if the weather is dry (it has to be warmish too before I venture out there).
Take care all of you 😊16 -
Echo @Moorviews comments.
@Dizzycap impressed by you keeping to the 12 month rule, too often I say I'll wait another season ( and another)..love your inspiration and creativity ( and skill) .
Got dressed for work this morning and decided navy trousers hung oddly ( yet another long standing unworn new from proper shop item). Hummed and ha'd and put on better quality navy trousers and managed to put first pair in cs bag. This eliminated potential for 2nd pair to be kept for best ( ie not worn) and wearing first pair with reduced confidence , and then listing for sale and then delisting as realise should be in cs bag! Phew, hope that makes sense!
Also out another duvet cover in.
A little paper out and send off tigi ( little cat) insurance claim.
Amazing the energy used in getting rid of some individual items .

I am struggling not to get too despondent but it does go hand in hand with the tiredness.I'm the same at the moment, so really understand where you're coming from xxx Mix that in with limited physical movements, poor sleep, poor concentration, and depression and you've got yourself a really party downer going on
Having said that, babyface got over her slight bump this morning with a little quick thinking and then at 10am she demanded a bath, which she can't have at the moment. As I sat drinking a mug of coffee I thought upside down shower cap, but the ones I have are too small. Then came Tena Lady disposable incontinence knickers
I turned a pair inside out with waterpoofing on the inside, slipped babyfaces legs through, pulled the eastic up which fitted her under carriage perfectly and gave her a quick shower as she was going crazy with her skin. It worked absolutely wonders and she was dry as a bone underneath, so that was the last of my energy for the day but a good job done and a potentially fab advert for Tena Lady!
The things I come up with!
Anyway Minkzie Taz Baby Devil is now totally relaxed and fully stetch out on her sofa baring all with waggy tail while snoring and grunting her head off. Finally, a peaceful coffee time & woe betide anyone who knocks on the door or phones in the next 20 minutes
No other plans for today as I'm feeling totally fatigued, so no doubt I'll have to pop and have a rest in bed for a couple of hours this afternoon~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 19/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing13 -

Thank you @Dizzycap and I do hope babyface is feeling better and you get her sorted asap.
I got a call from the doctor that afternoon @Moorviews 😁 I have a form for blood tests waiting down at the surgery which I will pick up tomorrow - I'm too tired at the moment. Until you are chronically tired it's hard to understand how debilitating it is. Be kind to yourselfI now allow 2-3 days to recover if I have one of my good days when I can work for hours. If I recover earlier, that's a bonus and sometimes I limit what I do a day in order to function the next. It's all adjustments on life's twisty path.
I've spent the morning in the garden treating the last of the pallet collars and moving them and a lot of other bits and pieces about and my back is letting me know it's done enough so I'm off for a lie down. Not sure what's up once I get up again - it will probably depend on whether it is raining or not. One forecast says rain starting in 5 minutes (clear blue sky at the moment) and another says 5 pm so who knows. 🤣🤣 DxAiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget

Just getting back on board as have been a bit poorly for several weeks.Am wading my way through three weeks worth of laundry - oh boy! But each load done is a load less to do.Found a bag of cat treats that Frankie doesnt like so decluttered them to neighbour for her three kitties.Recycled set of saucepans, old stew pot and 2 cast iron pans I can barely lift. Also recycled a collapsable laundry basket as it was getting on my nerves keep collapsing with laundry in it, flipping thing.Moved the stool from the kitchen so I can stand the air cooler on it in sitting room.Foodbank coming this afternoon to collect another donation too.Being a good day here so hope every one elses day is going well xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Thursday is another bright sunny day with clear blue skies with a forecast high of 18°C & low of 9°C. You might have noticed I didn’t mention doing the wudupa in my last post 🙊 When I came down I discovered that DH had done the washing up 😇 & was out in the garden strimming & weeding & tidying up. I seem to have gone into a bit of a slump, not only is my mojo still holidaying in Barbuda but as DH gets more active I become less active ☹️ Not helped of course by being bombarded with letters from the tax man 😠 So far this year I have received at least 4 letters advising me of my 2025/2026 tax code - all different of course. I did summon up the energy to dry & put away the washing up & write a shortish shopping list. DH & DSis have just left. Having slipped in my attempts to catch up with the cheerleading I am trying again starting with the last half dozen posts from Tuesday 😉
Lovely post Dizzycap 😊 So pleased to hear that your tender ministrations & babyface’s own good sense are working wonders & she is recovering almost hourly 🥹
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 Great work getting your net figures into double digits rather than triple 🥳
Lovely post TC77 😊
DH & DSis have just got back & shopping is put away.
Good work with the photos ionafan 👏 & good luck with the rest of them 🍀
Liverpool_Anne, great work sorting out admin stuff 👏 A pity that the union thing is still not resolved despite your best attempts ☹️ Hope the cake decorating class went well 🙂 & I am looking forward to seeing a photo or two 😉 Pleased to hear that you managed to find a gardener so quickly 😊
Now starting Wednesday’s posts 🙂
Dizzycap, sorry to hear that you didn’t sleep well Tuesday night 😔 I imagine babyface had another good night 😉 Hope you managed to get your gardening tasks done with plenty of rests in between & during each task 🤞 No doubt, Taz offered her assistance - required or not 😂 Excellent decluttering 👏 I am sure your postie was happy to see you despite the fact you were offloading 8 parcels 😉 I can’t remember if you said your dear mum had gone home or if she is still with you 🤔
London_1, I love hearing about your family ☺️
CRANKY40, I love the idea that your nieces & nephews are older than you 😂
Concentration is flagging, so will post this now before I lose it 😉 I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine ☀️

decluttering by association.....the gardener has come and decluttered the grass from the lawn. some has gone in the bin but the rest needs to be taken to the tip by him who thinks he should be obeyed.
