Morning Peeps,
I too have been missing in not much action but still plodding along.
As I am currently over 20 pages behind and I do like to keep up to date with all of your life challenges and carp that gets in the way.
This morning had a little brain wave of reading a page and go do a little task then come back here. Its working so far as am writing a list of things completed
Off to do some more bits

Thank you @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. Mojo's are capricious things, I think mine is back but for how long??? 🤨 I think that mine has been spurred into action by the imminent arrival of my DD and it turning into another sunny day😁😁😁
@Liverpool_Anne Beautiful roses, well done. 👏
@Florenceem 🤞🤞🤞for the weekend.
Loving the animal posts. 😁 My 2 cats are driving me scatty, well more scatty; Gino because he is shedding so much fluff and not showing the slightest sign of hair loss so there's so much more to come. Jewel is messing anywhere but her litter trays which is a symptom of hyperthyroidism. It's going to be a long week until her vet appointment next Thursday.
Talking of long(ish) waits, I picked up my bloods forms this morning and booked the first free appointment day; 23rd! On the plus side, that is the 23rd April and 2025. 🤣🤣
I'm now hovering around wanting to go for a rest but waiting for a delivery. The 2-hour timeslot has started.
Have a glorious weekend everyone. DxAiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade BudgetDECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday is yet another gloriously sunny day & the warmest day so far - high 20°C low 9°C ☀️DH headed off to Harley Street for the second laser treatment on his hands. I have my first cuppa & am ready to start the cheerleading- still Wednesday’s posts.
Lovely chatty post Blue_Doggy 😊 Good luck with this year’s geranium cuttings 🍀 What a great idea to list the furniture required for each room 😊 You never know you might find that you dispose of more once you have decluttered in each room 🤞 Shame about the tadpole reviving & coming back as a frog ☹️ Excellent decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed you can resist the siren call of the vases & that your crockery decluttering is successful 🤞
You are very welcome Muddy_Walker ☺️ Beautiful yarn although I still prefer the 03 colour combination 😉 I love that the website has names as well as numbers for each yarn 🥳
Soontobeoap, excellent decluttering of frogs on Wednesday 👏 Very impressed that you & DH repaired the pulley washing line - not only a new skill but also very MSE 🥳 Just noticed the number of bags decluttered 🤩 I will soon be sending another award 😉
daisy_1571, love This “Mr d has been asking for Canadianos in shops lol. And take a felt tip over our coffee maker americano boxes of pods in the house !!” If you do get the opportunity to holiday in Canada, I think you will love it 😻 Spectacular scenery & such friendly people + you might even be lucky & see the Aurora Borealis 🤞 Apparently late August to early April offers the best chance 😉 Late March was when I saw it whilst staying in Banff - spectacular 🥹
Florenceem, shame about MrF’s low blood pressure but great news that he was dressed for the first time in 17 days 🥹 Re This “It was announced that the meal price was going up from £3.50 to £4 - lots of muttering complaints. They get tea or coffee on arrival - a dinner and a pudding followed by tea/coffee. Where would that get a meal for £4?” - perhaps people should be reminded that £4 will only get you a sandwich, a snack & cold drink in somewhere like Bo*ts 😉 so a sit down hot meal is a true bargain 🥹
Willowtree222, great work using up fridge & freezer contents 👏
Excellent decluttering Jellybaby 👏 Nothing wrong with taking the ‘scenic route’ when it comes to decluttering ☺️ For me it means that I never regret releasing items to their new life 😊 As for This “……cleaned the bathrooms and removed empty shampoo and conditioner bottles (no idea why they were still there to be honest)” perhaps you were reminding yourself that you needed to buy replacements 🤔
Florenceem, great news about MrF 🥹 It sounds like the rehab is going very well & MrF is getting great treatment 🥹 Re the raised seat toilet, when DH broke his leg & was finally home, we were given a frame - a raised toilet seat with handles which we put in the downstairs cloakroom. It worked really well & meant that neither of us had to worry about any slips or falls. You had a very busy afternoon at SA 🤩
DH just phoned - very upbeat after his 2nd session as his left hand ‘looks’ better & the right hand ‘feels’ better 😊 He is coming home by bus as he prefers it to the Tube even though it takes a lot longer 😉 A perfect time for me to post as my concentration has been broken. I hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊 No pet pictures to entertain you but how about this

Liverpool_Anne - love the roses you made.
Mrs SD - lovely photo. I saw gorgeous Magnolia trees on the way to Deal.
I wrapped parcels this morning and popped to SA to print a label.
I had some LO bread so cut it up and fed birds on my way into town.
I took stuff to a charity shop and went to get some cash. Somehow I seem to have lost a £10 note - I thought I got £50 but only £40 when I got home - I may have dropped a note when I got my list out.
Post office wasn't busy when I went to post a parcel. After taking a parcel to the off licence I took bits to the £2 charity shop.
I got the local paper using a voucher so may have pulled out the £10 note then
I have taken more photos for V listings.
My friend offered to take me to see Mr F - different one to yesterday - friend - not husband!
Mr F was surprised to see us.
Mr F is coming home tomorrow!14 -
Hi all, not a lot from me, I’ve popped a few plants in the garden but overdone it and the last 3 nights decluttered myself off to bed by 7:30 🤗
A few bits into the box to go to boots for recycling and tomorrow hopefully a few more things out of the garage. The weather has been stunning here and the horror of a garden I inherited with the house now seems lovely, a couple of rose bushes, a fig tree and magnolia planted from pots into their forever home have done the trick, it actually feels like a garden now instead of a giant ode to stones.Downside is it’s sapped all my energy so going to make the most of the nice weather and sit and read outside the next few days.
Spent a lovely day with Son1, cinema every other Friday is our get together, just nice being around him.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and much love and gentle hugs to poorly pupsters and humans who need them xDecluttering Challenge 2025/1483

Good news about Mr F, @Florenceem - but what a nuisance that the £10 note slipped out of your grasp.
@dND I expect the appointments for blood tests are affected by the long Easter weekend In our area it is possible to ring the bookings line and ask to be added to a list of people who can come in at short notice, e.g. if there is a cancellation.
@foxandflowers I have decluttered a hot cross bun today
I have to ignore my photo sorting for a couple of days as I have more urgent things to do.
The robins who are nesting on the shelf in our coal shed - behind the plastic bottle of cat deterrent
- appear to have hatched some young, as they've been flying in and out all day and bringing back what look like worms. 14 -
Hi all. Busy day yesterday taking DS2 and family to airport for their holiday. I managed to loiter and look around town where many of my family lived although church was not open. I visited a burial ground I'd not been to before which was awash with beautiful spring flowers (picture below).
Long drive home but weather was good.
397 Gardening done and lawn treated by someone whilst I was out - looks a lot better although now it has been scarified lots of birds are visiting to Sox' disgust.
398/399 A pile of wood left by plasterer and carpet people and the 'innards' of an old kitchen unit left in the workshop taken to tip as I had DS2's bigger car.
400 My former dining room furniture contents emptied out round the house ready for work to start next week on kitchen. Units are sold but I will count when collected hopefully on Sunday.
Not sure I'm ready for next week's chaos and I need to tidy up a bit.
