Just popping in very quickly as I am taking a 5 min break from work. Still going a bit backwards with the numbers as I picked up a toy box from Buy Nothing that would otherwise have gone in the bin (I was considering getting one in the future for DD, but don't actually need it yet so it is being stored) and I also picked up a game DD loves playing already as well as gift wrap/packaging coming in.Physical:
1 - DD destroyed clothes (recycling)
2 - gift wrap used up
2 - paper, reused then recycled
1 - book (charity box)New total 954
Use it up total 65

Liverpool_Anne - well done on the cake decorating.
Crazycatlady2 - one of our SA ladies - H - was walking about well - she is 95 and can be confused but had no problems being mobile. Unfortunately she had a fall - in hospital for 6 weeks - no physio - just been sent to a care home - when a rehab unit place was meant to be there for her. H is no longer mobile! A friend went to visit H in the care home - she is just sitting in an armchair with a zimmer frame in front of her. A care home is not the place to get someone mobile again.
I went to SA - got bags of donations in from outside by the hopper. I set up a free area in front of the railings - soft toys and other toys - a lot of stuff has been taken - otherwise it goes in our bin which we pay to have emptied.
Another busy time at SA - my friend gave me 2 large plates of dinner to take home - I have made it into 3 day's meals. Had one meal - pork medallion, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and carrots and having a second cuppa before going to visit Mr F.
Mr F phoned me this morning - asked for some books to read and a pair of socks. The non slip hospital socks don't fit his swollen feet.
Granddaughter had a Colonoscopy today - no cancer. She has a type of ulcerative colitis.

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
An overcast start to Wednesday but has brightened up considerably & the sun is out. Slightly warmer too with a forecast high of 17°C & low of 9°C DH went out at 12:45 to the barbers, then phoned 13:30 to say he had caught a bus to Victoria Park for his daily walk. I was up late again 😔 I really MUST try harder 🤞The only things I have done is to put a bin bag in the wheelie bin & get some sausages out of the freezer for tonight’s dinner.

Will start cheerleading Monday’s posts 🙊
Yoshimi2025, you were obviously quite tired on Monday if you had a 6 hour nap 😴 Fingers crossed that you managed to get to sleep through the night 🤞Very MSE with the Boots Advantage points 👏
Dizzycap, hope your DD is having a lovely holiday 😊 When I read This “I removed what was left in the Mega Wardrobe of Doom, which still seems to be tons 😬 but all items were on the list I have written up and now in large piles all over DDs bedroom 😬 before it was dismantled by my lovely neighbour at 9am this morning and taken away - HOOOOOOOORAY!” I did a little jig around my living room 💃 Despite This “I will put DD's clothes and shoes etc in (new wardrobe) and job done, execpt for all the stuff in piles whiich I'll put in marked boxes and pile up against the new wardrobe for now, but it's all going one way or another!” I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ I can see a busy few days of listing, selling & packaging 😊 but hopefully the bulk of the items/boxes will be gone by the time your DD gets back 🤞 You have already done a remarkable job 🥳 & then on top of that you did all the laundry 🤩 Very pleased to hear that babyface is now taking her antibiotics 👏 Good luck for Wednesday 🙏
Lovely cheerleading sqwiffy & Muddy_Walker ☺️
Almost caught up one page but my concentration is not as it should be 😞 so will post & run. I hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 🤞Cwtches to all especially our poorlies & those going through a tough time 🤗 P.S. DH is home 🙂

Been to visit Mr F - he was sitting in an armchair - unfortunately - they left him there too long - his legs have swelled - he should only sit with his legs down for a short period.
OTs had been and Mr F walked with a zimmer frame a short way. No physio today.
Nurse came to do an ECG while I was there. They also did his blood sugar - 6.2.
OT phoned me this morning - I told him how Mr F must be for me to have him home safely. OT said - we are not thinking of discharging him right away - just setting up a plan.
OT asked Mr F if he would accept a place in a rehab unit - yes he would.
OT was left in no doubt that I am not going to accept an immobile husband home.

she was determined to get to the door before I carried her back in and put her on her lovely bean bag - bless her
Just having a quick cup of coffee before we're off to bed where I know she'll totally relax and hopefully have a peaceful night, although I have a feeling that she'll be sick at some point but nothing that we can't deal with
Wishing everyone a lovely evening and peaceful nights sleep xxxx Thank you all once again for your kind well wishes, it really made a difference to us both xxxxx

Day 3 with DM and my Dsis2( I've been calling my sister's DS's and just realised that is probably Darling Son's. Doh! I don't have any son's, but have three sisters! DM was pretty vague today and not keen on eating or drinking. I went home for a break and went for a walk with OH, and DD1's dog Ronnie. While there, I did a quick bit of decluttering.Box of miscellaneous stuff decluttered, pension papers filed and old bits disposed of, cardboard recycled, mirror and emails cleared.@Charlie's tribe - sounds a tough day! Hope it gets better.@Florenceem = I don't think you could make it up! Get some rest.@crazycatlady2 - No wonder you feel sorry for yourself, sad about your cat, and then there's all the rest going on. Hugs.@Vulpix - you have the right mindset for housebuying.Day 4 with DM and my Dsis2. I've been lucky as my DM has slept well for 3 nights in a row. We took her to singing for the brain which she loves but it exhausted her. Collected my Dsis2 after to come for a bit as she's been at home recouperating after her fall last week. She has a number of chronic health conditions so that's harder for her to get over. Later I took her home and then went to my house for dinner with my DH before coming back to help get my DM washed and into bed. Fingers crossed for a quiet night! Naturally there's been no time to declutter today apart from a few emails.I'm feeling very grateful to have found so many lovely people online. You hear so much stuff about negative messages, especially for our young people, and there's been no nasty stuff on here. Only lots of kindness so thank you all@weenancyinamerica - you are getting a raw deal. Is it time to give some marching orders? Or at least a first warning of them?@dizzycap - hope you and Babyface are better very soon.@moorviews- are you any good at sewing as you could use the expensive jeans to make something else out of them maybe? Or sell them on Vinted and buy another pair?Loving all the animal stories. Virtual hugs to everyone who is struggling.I'm now at page 239 so nearly caught up!TrialTrying different methods of decluttering..... Random at present but not very organised.17

I'm glad babyface is safely home Dizzycap and good luck in keeping her quiet!
i hope the OT keeps to their word Florenceem and don't try to send Mr F home too soon.
sorting the room of doom produced a whole lot more paperwork to go through I've managed to cull by about 80% so far this afternoon there is just the large box file marked 'house' to go through tomorrow a quick peep shows it also contains mortgage papers from the last two mortgage lenders ( I paid my mortgage off ten years ago 🫣) it also contains all the deeds stuff which the building society didn't want when I brought the house so I must put that somewhere safe again. There's a large pile to shred including annual appraisals from 1997 / 1998 🤷♀️ and all the stuff I was given to help me when job hunting after I was made redundant in 2013 including a large four ring binder full of stuff. The recycling bin seems half full with non personal paperwork and all those old instruction manuals for items long gone! I may have to ask my neighbour if he has space in his wheelie bin for this week as I think it will be one large bag of shredding on top of the two from last week.
I've found several presents gifted over the last few years which aren't really me so they will be discreetly sent to charity shop without causing offence to anyone 🙂Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin17
