DSis and I have recommenced the stripping of the ‘new to us’ fire surround that has been half done since before DBro and DSis’s health issues of the last couple of years. It’s been lovely being out in the garden for the last couple of days stripping it back with just the bees for company. We’re on a tea break at the moment as the bulk of it is done but we’re now onto fiddly twiddly bits. They are going to take as long as stripping the main part has done but it will be worth it in the end.DSis and I tackled the front garden bright and early last Sunday (we were out before 9am so that’s looking tidier. However the ‘hedge commanders’ (sparrows) have been most generous with their seed fertiliser deposits so the weeds are growing luxuriously under their hedge and there’s only so much hoeing to be done when the snowdrops, crocus and bluebells are about their business.Back to the fire surround……✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Managed to declutter a tree today.
Nephew fitting my new fence which blew away during storm Eowyn and this tree was in the way of a new fence post so it had to go.
Too tired now after all the fence work to do anything else so I am on the couch for until my 2 need walked again at around 6:30pm.Debt Free - 4th June 202515 -
Thursday and Friday the declutter totals stayed low at 5 per day because I had to keep stopping things to blow my nose and in the end I gave up. I'm ok again today so the total is 10 which included a black bin bag crammed full of ivy and dead raspberry canes which has been decluttered into the garden waste bin.
I've had operations in June for the last 2 years so between that and helping a friend in their garden when I could my own garden got mostly left to it's own devices. "Operation clean and weed" is now underway. I want to try and do a little bit on every dry day so it's not such a backbreaking task.
@GrannyKate it's probably worth having a look at the pressure display on your boiler so that you know where it should be (preferably while the heating is off) then keep an eye on it for a couple of days to see if it's going down at all. If it carries on dropping then you may have a leak somewhere in the system.12 -
Mr F fell in the hall yesterday - he was being helpful - took something into the garage where I store rubbish before it goes outside in the bin. He hit his head on the laminate floor so has a lump on his forehead.
This morning before we went out Mr F fell in the bathroom - he was walking without the zimmer!
Mr F and I went to prayer breakfast at SA this morning. I sat Mr F down while I got on with helping. Lovely full English breakfast. We had lots of people come to breakfast including 2 rough sleepers. One said to me - that when he woke up this morning - he didn't imagine that he would be having a lovely breakfast. I persuaded him to have seconds of bacon and sausages as I was serving the food.
Came home and finished the navy velvet curtains.
I walked into town to take V parcels to the off licence and a bag of donations to the charity shop. I bought the local paper and got a bus to Al.. I did my shopping and got a bus home.
R has just been to collect her curtains.
I feel really tired this afternoon.

Hey Ho AllAnother lovely sunny day but with a chilly wind. It's gone very cold now and will be for another 2-3 days & nights then teperatures are going up so hopefully I will be able to cut the lawn at the end of next week, if I have enough energy and if it looks ok to cut it.Had a lovely day with babyface. We went for a lovely walk to the CS at 9am and whilst I offloaded the full dolly trolly, babyface wonder around browsing and demanding attention, as usualI cluttered up the dolly trolly again with inpost parcels for a neighbour which were prompty decluttered on the way back. Got back and decluttered all the HH bins along with a lovely large mug of coffee. Babyface demanded to have a bath, so she did, along with a lovely swim around
Then I got back into my thick PJ's and went pottering in the back garden for a couple of hours in the lovely hot sunshine with babyface doing fruit-loops and digging when I said, "I can see you" - crazy girl
She's now fully stretched out on the sofa under her fleeces snoring away while I've been taking pics, listing items to hopefully declutter soon, pre-packed a few eBy auction items with bids on, and had dinner. I'm in for it later when she wakes up and springs off the sofa for the toilet, dinner, and toy play time
It doesn't sound as though I've done much today but I've been awake all day and have completed loads of HH chores including hooveringTime to declutter another large mug of coffee before deciding bewteen pics & listing clutter or taking a lovely hot shower while I have he energy.Toodle-pip for now & I hope everyone is having a lovely decluttering 1st of March Saturday!~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 23/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing13 -

I just wanted to say thank you all again x
Yesterday I took DS2 in to town to meet his GF for lunch he has special needs and i have to stay with him so DD1 and the DGC came along too so I wasn't playing gooseberry. We had a table near them.
They had a lovely afternoon and on the way home DGD demanded to sleep at nanas house. Well can't say no to that but means I've done absolutely nothing i was planning DD1 collected her about 4 and other than doing a shopping order for tomorrow, I've still done nothing. I need to work miracles to catch up on my numbers.

Saturday: my get up & go has definitely got up & gone - sunning itself on a Caribbean island accompanied by Siebrie’s get up & go 😞 I was up very late so missed most of the glorious sunshine (although it was very cold out of the sun 🥶) DH had been up for a while watching the reruns of MotoGP qualifying - first races of the season in Thailand. He had a bowl of hm soup before heading out at 15:45 for his walk. He has just got back 17:50. Meanwhile the one thing I have done is deal with the 3 items of mail that I received today including updating my accounts as one item was a bank statement. I really do need to buck up so will allow myself one more day of unadulterated laziness & my plan is to start afresh on Monday 🤞So my goal for the weekend is to catch up with the cheerleading. Dinner was our first Chinese since last October. Wudupa

Florenceem, a busy Thursday morning 👏
Siebrie This “May I ask you to check the luggage racks? I seem to have left my Oomph on the train when I got off in December. I've been looking all over the place at home and at the office, but can't find it anywhere!” I last saw your ‘Oomph’ hand in hand with mine boarding a plane to a warm island in the Caribbean 😉
Dizzycap, you have been busy & all before 11:00 👏 Love the picture you painted of babyface all snuggled up with just the end of her nose sticking out ☺️
Spot on Florenceem 😉
Siebrie, after a bit of investigation I think both your get up & go and mine are sunning themselves on Barbuda 😅
Dizzycap, good luck with your listings 🍀
CRANKY40, hopefully you have managed to declutter the cold your DS thoughtfully passed on to you 🤞 Excellent decluttering to the CS 👏 & with so much donated in one visit, I am awarding you a medal 🏅 Well done on keeping up with & surpassing your 5 a day target 😊
vulpix, that sounds like a wonderful Wednesday evening - good food, good company & a cute kitten to play with ☺️ Very nice buys from the CS 😊
Liverpool_Anne, lovely cheerleading 🥹 I thought I spotted your ‘Oomph’ on the beach just as mine & Siebrie’s were settling down with a fancy cocktail 😅 I hope the dentist appointment went well on Friday 🙏
Dizzycap, love the foxy food parcels 🥹
_Dolly_Rocker_ excellent decluttering 👏 A very good start to your 2025 journey 😊
Yoshimi2025, I was very fortunate to be able to take on the mantle from Guineapigsqueaks & Sa1sysoo back in 2019 - they had already set the stage for the thread to be such a welcoming & safe place to be 😊 & it lovely to know that our Declutterati family has gone from strength to strength 🥹 Excellent decluttering 👏 Perhaps you could make your fortune on Vinted or ebay 😉
Florenceem, lovely looking curtains 😻
Just noticed the time so am off to bed. Sleep tight 😴
