QueenJess - don't worry about your numbers after scoring clothes for DD.
Mrs SD - it will be a long time before I run out of stuff to list and sell.
My new overlocker is unpacked and sitting on a table next to it's sister Juki.
I have just listed more items on Eb..Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@ Florenceem - lovely to hear that Mr.F went out for a walk, even if he is reluctant with using the rollerator, he's trying
Can't wait to hear about your new overlocker once it's up and running. Great going with the listing, selling, and posting - It's never ending, isn't it?
@ QueenJess - Great going with bagging a complete wardrobe of next size up clothes for DD from Buy Nothing. Personally, I wouldn't be worried about the ins, as long as the outgrown clothes go outWhat's new in the world of decluttering? After an lovely peaceful afternoon snuggles sleep with babyface, we've fed the fox, had a look at the swans nest which is huge!- I will have to take a picture tomorrow
, been out for a lovely evening walk and collected a couple of inpost parcels for a sick neighbour which were promptly decluttered, we've been taking pics, with daxie girl wanting to be in the background, so I had to take pics elsewhere
and listing items on eBy before the great game of babyface helping decluttering packing of sold items begins
- Postie will have a pile of 8 parcels to collect tomorrow and I dare not even think what the hallway will look like by the end of tonight!
It's a means to an end, eventually.
The weird thing is, that no matter how many items I list and sell from the Mega Wardrobe of Doom & Nightmares, it's still fully packed behind 2 doors- More like a Tardis.
My mother is paying a visit tomorrow and has said she's bringing some things for me. Not shopping, which I don't need anyway, but things? Even thought we've had that polite 'No clutter, please' talk, I hope it isn't more junk to declutterI'm hoping it's things for babyface, not that she needs or wants for anything
I feel a disaster looming
Time to declutter another cup of coffee before packing and emptying all the HH bins and spraying kitchen surfaces before bed.Wishing everyone a lovely evening & hugs to all who would like one xxxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 22/20 (8 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 24 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £593.80 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £16,543.30 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing (-30p)18 -

Good morning declutteriI'm up nice and ealry decluttering a lovely large cup of coffee after a lovely peaceful nights sleep. Babyface is still snoring her head offAs all the HH bins were emptied again before bed along with kitchen surfaces, draining board and rack sparyed and wiped, I took out everything on the fridge shelves and cleaned the shelves while waiting for the kettle to boil. Everything loaded back into the fridge now:-)Decluttering a pile of babyface washing in the machine before cluttering up the drying rack. It's going to be warm today but it'll be raining for most fo the day without the sharp gusts of winds, as it was through the night here. All parcels ready for postie to declutter and collect this morningBeen listing a few more items while decluttering my coffee and it's now time to clutter up on another cup before I continue listing - my energy level has already dropped a lot, so will be going back to bed at 6am for a couple of hours extra rest, even if I don't sleepWishing everyone a Super Decluttering Saturday! xxxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 22/20 (8 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 24 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £593.80 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £16,543.30 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing (-30p)18

Dizzycap - I am staggering my listing so I don't have loads to post at the same time. I had 2 big items to post the other day so had to go into town twice. I only have one item finishing over the weekend and that is a small one so will be able to put charity donations in my shopping trolley as well as the parcel.
Is it all clothes from your tardis wardrobe that you are listing?
I can't get to my wardrobe yet as it is in the large ROD.
I have laid out and cut grey velvet curtains this morning. Cut the linings and just clipping them together before sewing.
I am doing jacket potato, salad and bratwurst in a multi grain roll for our main meal at lunch time.
Bed is stripped and washing is on.
Still raining here and dull.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@dizzycap @florenceem Thanks
I am still really chuffed I got a wardrobe for DD for free; it’s completely mad! I think I’ll just carry on my counting through the year to make sure I don’t go off on a tangent somewhere. I just want to make sure over a long period things are very slightly decreasing rather than accumulating as I do not want to do a massive 2 year declutter like last time! DD’s old clothes will definitely be leaving, but it’s going to be a task to find out what’s too small/big and get everything sorted. She’s probably between sizes right now (although on a growth spurt based on how much she’s eating right now!), so it’ll be a slow decluttering of her clothes over many months.
A few more bits out today and I have a very old fashioned seed cake in the tlc carriage if anyone fancies it (I have an almost full jar of caraway seeds in the kitchen and no idea what I bought them for, so I may as well use them up!).Physical:
1 - packaging reused
2 - perished socks (recycling)
New total 679
Use up total 38
Net physical things in/(out) in Feb +45
I do have books that need to go out from DS, but not braved the loft to get out the slipcover they go in yet. Once I do, I’ll count them in my total. Might wait until I have a box of things for charity as I’ll need to get a box from the loft then.

Saturday: a dull grey day with a forecast high of 13°C & low of 8°C. I was up at 11:00 as I want to have a bath then pack for a night away. We are heading off this afternoon for the RBR Awards dinner. DH booked the hotel room months ago.
Excellent decluttering Dizzycap 👏 What a busy morning & early afternoon 🤩 no wonder you needed an afternoon nap 😉 Pleased to hear that both babyface 1 & 2 enjoyed their walks & their ‘crazy fruit loops’ running 😅
Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏 Rather annoying about the bus driver although hopefully he will do better today 🤞Lovely to have a visit from DD & DGD 😊 Great news that MrF has been out for a walk even if he was too stubborn to use his rollator 😉
Great decluttering TC77 especially as work is so busy 👏
QueenJess, great news that you have saved so much money by stocking up on clothes for DD 🥳
Florenceem, pleased to hear that the overlocker is unpacked 😊 Hopefully you will get an opportunity to use it soon 🤞
Dizzycap, pleased to hear that the foxes & swans are entertaining you 😊 I am looking forward to seeing a photo of the swan’s nest especially as you have described how huge they are 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 I will keep everything crossed that your mother is only joking & is only bringing you a nice bottle of wine, flowers & a box of chocolates 🤞
I have finished my cuppa & am off to have my bath. I hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊 See you later 👋

Mrs SD, have a lovely time at the awards ceremony tonight. Will anyone else have recorded wildlife seen en route, do you think?
Visitor took a couple of books away this morning and gave permission for something else to go to CS. I have finished reading another book but it won’t be going anywhere just yet, however it is back on the bookshelf and no longer cluttering up the bedroom. It seems that as fast as I get rid of books, OH is bringing more in. I seem to recall other declutterati mentioning small brown packages being delivered on a regular basis (at least four in the last 10 days here)…
Made three batches of soup this week and so far 12 portions into the freezer, with more to go in later today once cooled. Several more tins uu this week. Will get a sm delivery later this week as we are running out of a couple of essentials but it’s 5 ish weeks since the last delivery so I am ok with that.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16 -

Still raining here and dull.I have a mixture of clothing including 8 brand new expensive coats/jackets left, a couple of pairs of shoes, brand new handbags and rucksacks, which are gradually reducing in quantity. Like you, I've staggered eBy autions running and have put some items on BIN's, so it can suddenly go a little crazy. That's when postie comes in very useful for more than 2-3 parcel collections as I don't always have the energy to get the dolly trolly to the RM sorting office or Quad lockers. BTW, it took me over 4 months to be able to get to the wardrobe of doomI did manage to declutter another item & parcel out this morning, so the collection is reducingYour curtains sound fab. I do like good quality velvet curtains and have some super handmade sets in the lounge which are fantastic in the winter as I have floor to ceiling windows, so that I can see all the nature, overlook the back garden and river across to the local park. Madam Babyface is in 7th heaven with her thick fleece and blanket beanbag in one of the windows, as you can imagineWe've had some lovely warm and sunny weather here today, so the washing has been out and smells lovely and fresh and I'm now in the middle of listing a few more items and batch cooking roast joints, which is driving babyface crazy. Daxie's have absolutely no patience when it comes to waiting for food to cookI have a had a lovely day with walks with the 2 babyfaces but I had to have an emergency appointment with the chemist at 2pm because I suspected I'd come down with Shingles again, and I have, so medication started and that makes you feel far worseOkay, time for another cup of coffee, check on the joints, and take some more pics of another 3 items, so I can get listing them pronto as I'm running out of energy......Oh well, it could be far worse

@Dizzycap do you think maybe you actually need to rest more than you are doing, if you have got a recurrence of shingles? I seem to remember you said you'd been put on bed rest, but seemed to be out & about rather than resting?2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
