@weenancyinAmerica gosh, you do so.much for your housemates and are so busy with other things. Please do prioritise yourself and be kind to yourself.
I've been reading along and sending prayer and healing vibes to those in need and admiration for people managing life generally and much decluttering going on in between.
Dropped a pillow and some smarty pants ( as in once expensive) at the CS and took back an Xmas pressie one dd didn't want and happy to exchange.... ah what to get ... saw a notebook ( can go with dozens others at home) but nothing else I wanted and seemed quite smart... found reduced to v little so got another one!
I am still working through my own,dd2s spare school exercise books and my parents stash19 -
@sqwiffy - That's a lovely photo of Aussie15

sqwiffy said:@Florenceem - why did you hate that sewing machine? Sorry if i missed earlier posts about it. And are you giving up sewing if you're selling another one? I like sewing, making clothes with my best friend mostly but haven't had much time for it for a while. We had big plans to spend more time together when she retired in October but our first day out together got cancelled as I got the call about my DM.@GrannyKate - well done for coping with all those work men or women messing up your place ! And poor Sox !@Wednesday2000 - What's a chazzer please? I think I'm going to get rid of ornaments that I keep because they were gifts but I don't like them and just keep the ones that I collected and like enough to bother dusting.@weenancyinAmerica- You sound very kind but it seems that the only thing you need to declutter are some housemates unless they can agree to follow some clear space boundaries maybe, imho !Thoroughly enjoying an evening with my DH. Found a photo of Aussie, he had different markings on each side of his face, so cute.
- I'm welling up looking and thinking about him, and he wasn't even my gorgeous beloved companion

Hi all, extremely bad day decluttering wise. I spent hours on the computer trying to get to the right place to register for the ballot. I think the site was so busy it just wouldn't let me connect. Eventually got on at 8pm while watching the football on tv 😁. Between times I just pottered about putting things away and fiddling around the edges 😂. I did go to the sm and checked in on ln who is improving and phoned my sister to check she is ok, she has an appointment for an echocardiogram tomorrow so some rational talking about what might happen and what they might find and she is ok about it all at this point.
@Vulpix if you have decided you definitely don't want the cross body bag try selling it 😁 kerching and use the money to treat yourself 😁
@Florenceem I haven't been able to get an away ticket for about 15 years apart from games like this at Wembley which is a massive place but even so we got an allocation of 30.000 which is just over half of the capacity of our home ground. I understand with normal away games as we get a very limited allocation but for games at Wembley too many tickets go to corporate people. Both teams playing in this final could easily fill Wembley on their own. I have been going to the footy for over 50 years now and have been a season ticket holder for 36 years but it counts for nothing unfortunately. I hope your sons are enjoying their football this season, forest are doing really well and playing some excellent football 😁
@foxandflowers there are ways to get tickets if your DH and FIL wanted to attend a game but they are quite expensive though every year there is a charity game when the legends play and these are reasonable prices, there is details on the club website, may be possible for a birthday present or something 😁. I think tonight we were slightly hampered by the ref but it is what it is 😁. Good luck with your move and the shed 😁
@Mrs SD the cold is much better now, just moments of fatigue 😁, as for the laundry it's like the forth bridge, you just get on top of it and it fights back 😂. I do find it hard going at this time of year as you cant get it dry on the line so I am always waiting for a good drying day which is maybe 1 day a week if we are lucky 😂
@weenancyinAmerica I do feel for you, I wish I could just come round and give those roommates an earful. The stuff in the utility room , give them a time limit, if it's not claimed and removed bin it. Glad you have the mormons coming to help with it all, big hugs
@Soontobeoap I remember cutting up a matress once as I couldn't fit it in the car 😂 it was quite hard work but I did manage it.
@Squiffy a chazzer or cs is a charity shop 😁
@TC77 I find it very hard to resist a nice note book even though I have quite a few 😁.
Right off to bed now,
Hugs to everyone who would like one
216 footy ticket thing as it took hours 😂
Take care everyone

Florenceem, pleased to hear that you had a restful Monday afternoon watching DVDs. Two more excellent films 😊 Also very pleased to hear that you had a day indoors yesterday 😊 Hopefully it will mean that your cold doesn’t get worse 🤞Good luck selling both your sewing machine & die cutting machine 🍀 I will keep my fingers crossed that the pressure relieving equipment is delivered soon 🤞
Wednesday2000,you certainly have an eclectic taste in music 😊 Hope you enjoy the flower arranging class 🤞Hopefully your 2nd sacrocranial treatment won’t make you feel so unwell 🙏 What did you think of Sort Your Life Out? DSis & I thought Rob’s bedroom build was superb 🤩
Dizzycap, excellent decluttering especially emptying your hallway again 👏 I can just imagine the looks you got twhen you were wheeling your trolley out of the supermarket 😂 This “…. a pile of clean thick babyface fleeces to put in her storage basket. No doubt she'll be checking each one as it goes in to make sure I've not missed any and that they've all been washed in Sandalwood & Lavender sensitive liquid” had me smiling 😊 as it does sound like babyface keeps you on your toes 😅
BlueJ94, very MSE 👏
Fell asleep on the sofa & just woke up, so will post & head to bed. Sleep tight 😴

Good luck with the ticket ballot @Liverpool_Anne I’m a rugby girl but I keep an eye on Toon and how they’re doing. I have a passionate Geordie friend who has made repeated attempts to convince me that footie is the one true sport. Unfortunately Toon always lose if I watch. I’m therefore banned from watching the game live 😉. I ended up in Newcastle the day of the first England match of the World Cup, that was an experience!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

@Liverpool_Anne I know the tinkering around the edges feeling although sounds like you are doing more than you give yourself credit for.
Adding a target around digital declutter. Another 100+ emails but still nearly 2.9k emails on one account and 1.6k on another ( inboxes only).
Would like to get to those that need saving in folders , maybe 1k and then under 500 in inbox. Have got down from 1.8 to 1.6k and now 92% full on other one....
2 items for sale have lots of watchers and no buyers ( bulky) so debating what to do...18 -
Good morning allAnother cold, miserable and very grey morningDecluttered and emptied the recycling bag into the wheelie bin wearing my PJ's and waiting for the kettle to boil for my first cup of coffee of the morning. Didn't fall asleep until 4.30am but ended up having a nice hot shower and deluttering a couple of shampoo bottles. Woke up at 7.30 am and decluttered clothes into the washing machine which are washing away ready to put on the drying rack before I need to get dressed, take babyface for her walk to the charity shop complete with the dolly trolly, and then get the car out and go out to my now pointless dr.s appointment
before going to babyface 2 and taking her out for a walk and crazy run
Full morning but should be back home and back in my PJ's by 11.30am ready for bed rest - as it looks like its going to be a grey old day, I'm not too bothered
Got a couple of items to pre-pack later ready to leave the house by postie on Monday, so I'll also be using my newly aquired free recycled packaging too - double bubble with the deluttering

More empty packets in the kitchen.
Finished a body lotion and started on another part used.
More off the reading pile into recycling bin and more emails read and deleted. No frogs attempted but hoping to get one ready to munch tomorrow morning.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅18 -
