Liverpool_Anne- there was no tartare sauce in Ald. the other day - their own brand or the expensive one. I went to Lid. today - got 2 - can't have fish without tartare sauce.
I took the trolley and bag full of stuff to the charity shop.
After a tea break - I went out again to Lid. and The Rang.. - I don't like shopping there as it is out of the way and so much stuff - you struggle to find what you want. Anyway I got a microwave cover for dinner plates and the diffuser refills that I wanted - got 2 so I don't have to go back too soon.
Dull day here but not as cold as yesterday.
Surgery phoned - woman said that she would ring back - she hasn't!
Physio phoned - Mr F is on the list for when a slot is available.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hugs to all that need them
Today I've identified some more videos in a cupboard upstairs that can go. I keep chipping away lol
My uncle is providing his big van on Saturday so be fetching contents of shed from old house and my garden table and chairs I think....not sure if that counts as decluttering or not 😂
This week I'm helping DH with PIP application form which is horrible job to do 😢 then I'm waiting for probate and house sale so lots of admin type things to do there.
Coffee time over best do some more....no rest for the wicked as they say23 -
Some crockery went today. 6 items in total.
Found some more books to get rid of.
Listed around 5 items to sell, some of them are big.
Binned an old box found in the garage.
Actually feels like progress is being made.
Hope everyone is OK. Virtual well wishes being sent to everyone on here who is struggling at the minute.

Surgery finally phoned back - Dr is going to video call - good luck with that! Neither of us are good with videos on the phone.
I had forgotten that it was discount Tuesday at Icel... and I wanted eggs. After our meal I took another trolley of donations to the charity shop and got some eggs.
Tired now - done 10,500+ steps.
I am down to 2 bags now from 26.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

20 books sold, parcelled up and collected. It is a drop in the ocean in the scale of stuff but it is at least things moving the right way, and I only buy books on kindle now (poor eyesight!)My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Took two large forever bags to the Sally Army shop, containing various kitchen implements [ lots of tripled versions of things], glass saucepans [ got them from someone at the dump but didn't like them] , dish drainer [ too big for the sink now], a bag, hairdryer, crimper, and some other stuff. The hallway is clear again.

Off to my friends returning all of his crockery and also gifting him one of my wax melt burners. I have too many to count!
Feeling very motivated at the minute as I am actively removing things from the house.September 2017 Debt = £25330

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday is a dark, dreary day but no rain forecast although the high of 10°C feels like 3°C 🥶 Only got up at 12:00 but am dressed & drinking my first cuppa quickly as I have an opticians appointment. Left at 13:00 to catch the bus & arrived in plenty of time so got some cash from the bank & then found a seat & tried to complete the cryptic crossword. Very pleasant sales assistant & optician. Eyes have got slightly worse so new prescription. Usual ouchy moment when I paid (£606) for my day to day glasses & my readers but at least I got 10% off - a benefit of aging 😉 & the 2nd pair were half price. Back indoors by 15:30. DH made me a coffee & has made soup using up various leftovers from the fridge. Of course whilst he was in the kitchen a squirrel appeared on the window sill - paws on chest begging for a nut. However when DH opened the back door there were another FOUR lined up side by side about a foot apart all waiting to be fed as well 😂 Typically DH had left his phone upstairs 🙁 DH did the washing up & I have dupa.
Dizzycap, very pleased to hear that you have been resting as much as possible & for as long as you could without going mad 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 & good luck tidying up the 4 piles of ‘stuff’ on the bedroom floor 🍀 Please, please take your time changing the bed linen as I don’t want you undoing all the good work you have done on your recovery so far 🙏
suzeesu2000, very pleased to hear that the ‘decent’ buyers have put in an appearance & restored your faith 😊
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 & pleased to see that you are gradually getting organised 😊 Roast duck 🤤
Lovely cheerleading weenancy 😊 I hope the rain is a steady & light rain & lasts all day 🤞rather than a short sharp downpour which would cause even more issues 😞 Good luck with your vegetable garden 🍀 I hope that you are feeling better than of late & that Di is recovering 🙏
Good decluttering I_Love_comps 👏
Excellent decluttering Willowtree222 👏
Soontobeoap, keep up the good work reducing your craft stash 👏 & Good luck decluttering & tidying the spare bedroom 🍀 I agree that having a deadline (as long as it is a reasonable one) can help with motivation to declutter 😊
Excellent decluttering ruby_eskimo 👏 & wising you every success with your listings on V 🍀
Wednesday2000, that wardrobe sounds horrendous ☹️ although I do understand This “I said that we may as well take the doors off as if this keeps happening it is at almost £100 each time to buy a replacement door and there are 6 doors! ……….. That will be added incentive to keep up with decluttering and keeping it tidy as I won't have any doors to hide clutter behind” perhaps you could put up a curtain or curtains instead of doors 🤔
Brie, seems like your OH requires some additional training 😉 Perhaps we should start a small school aboard the EDT just to train our OHs, DHs etc in the fine art of not only decluttering but also disposing of items/stuff appropriately 🤔
Excellent work clearing the ivy oceanspirit 👏 & great work tackling the emails 👏 Hopefully the old emails won’t take too long to go through & you will be able to just skim read & delete 🤞 This “Home cooking is not happening as I am too tired so am really grateful to have plenty in the freezer from last month” counts as two birds with one stone - conserving limited energy & decluttering freezer contents 😊
Think I should post seeing as I started this when I got up & then just stopped 🙊 Although I do need to have a proper concentrated session of cheerleading before I get too far behind 😉 I do hope that everyone has had as good a day as possible 😊 & that the weather has been kind 🤞

I've managed to declutter all the bins again along with junk mail and just decluttered my dinner before decuttering another phone call with the doctor - I've now had to clutter the rest of the week up with daily surgery appointments and every other day next week - don't mention referrals and enough said about thatI'm going to list some more items this evening so I can declutter my phone of all the pictures I've taken and I hope everything finds a new home one way or anotherI've got a whole load of gifted Rememberance Sunday items arriving in the post over the next few days which will go straight into the dolly trolly and out to the charity shop PRONTO! If you'd seen the hallway last night you would have screamedI only just managed to get out the front door this morning and the postie asked if I was going anywhere after he'd collected 4 decluttering parcels! Says it all
\needless to say, tonight the hallway is fully clear but the charity shop is full
Off to declutter another lovely cup of coffee and feed the foxes - Goodnight all and I wish you well with all your decluttering efforts tomorrowta-ta for now and love and prayers to all xxxx
