You may as well give up hoping for the "day" tab on your account on the website to show up to date - it doesn't have that capability as far as I am aware. It sounds as though your tablet's OS (operating system)means that your account view in the app is getting treated the same as the web view for some reason, possibly because the tablet isn't on a "standard" OS.

I see exactly the same thing only with the previous day blank!!
    Do you?
I posted a screenshot of the "day" view, but you shared one of the "week" view and stated that it was identical to what you see on your tablet app.
My display only shows up to 2 days ago accurately
The previous day is shown as zero usage
The "week" view will always do that. The "day" view gives details for today, and yesterday, and the day before etc.
No I have an android(ish )tablet
It runs a form of android
But does not allow screenshots as android does
Does your Android tablet app give you a "day" view?
And a "live" one (noting that "live" only ever shows electricity, not gas)?
It shows live and yes I do have day tabs but they show zero use
So the live tab shows usage, but nothing on the day tab?  Is that what you mean?

so still a day missing from available data -on both PC and Android !

But you're not on true Android as you stated previously , Android (ish) was your phrase , can i assume a custom rom based on android ? or something else. Is it something that Octopus would have full compatibility with.

its a Huawei tablet that runs an OS that is extremely similar to Android 9.0 but is not strictly Android

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Huawei run Harmony OS so definitely not Android or even a custom Android rom & i guess not fully compatible with the home mini,  maybe call Octopus to check.

I'm very sceptical about this being OS related - if that part of the app  didn't work at all, or didn't update, that would be a different matter.

I unplugged my mini after after switching electricity to TE because it stopped showing live usage for gas. Looking at the day tab just now it's also showing usage up to the day before yesterday.  This is on Samsung Android.

I just looked again and it's not working at all now.

That is correct - yes I DO have a day tab - on both PC and Android versions of the app -
I didn't think there was a "PC app"!
Which app store did you get your Android app from? What version is it?

Octopus itself and maybe not a windows "app" as such - the Octopus site itself.... but as for the version, I have no idea - it doesn't say ! It is the latest version

It's still not clear to me (or anyone else, is imagine) whether you're running the Octopus App on your tablet or simply looking at the Octopus website via a web browser.

For anyone else who thought - as I did - the answer to this was that the webpage doesn't have a Live tab, it does now.  Evidently I hadn't checked mine online since before the change.

Mine shows live usage (no graph), then on the Day option no data for yesterday, only Monday 3rd and before.

OP, does your Live usage have a graph with it?

Is it a bit like this:

    Or like this:
