    Sounds like complete tosh to me. 

    Could you take a screenshot of the phone screen showing what you see on the “day” tab in the app and post it here? As far as I recall the live and day tabs take their info from the HM, while week and beyond take it from the info pulled to Octopus from the meter itself.

    Agreed. It is tosh.
    I have both an IHD and a Mini. Both are working as they are supposed to do, and the IHD did not need decommissioning first.

    I have asked him why he thinks this - and copied in Greg@octopus.energy as well.....

    on the app does give live usage 

    Yes - both show live usage - but that is not the problem
    Neither show up to date graphs - electricity is 4 hours out at the moment
    Gas is at least 24 hours behind !

    Can you pop a screenshot of the relevant tabs in here so we can see how/what is displayed? That might give some clues as to what is going on. 

    i take it that you do have "background app refresh" marked to on in your app settings? That may affect how regularly the information is updated, perhaps?

    The brainless idiot at Octopus HAS disconnected my old IHD and is now asking for a photo of the code number on the IHD so he can reconnect it !
