Halifax Reward Slow Updates

glad it worked out for you. 1 -
Three of my accounts have not tracked so far this month the fourth account has tracked .
These three non tracked accounts are indicating no £500 spend has been made yet £500 has gone out via a debit card payment to a savings account as it does every month .
Will see what happens around the 12th of next month when the rewards are payed out .
Normally the tracker has always indicated correctly in the past with myself
I tend to keep a low profile with 4 accounts but if they dont pay out I will ring in a complaint .
The only other time I had a issue was when the 500 debit card spend was made very near the last day of the month .

You'll probably be fine, the tracker is often wrong - we had this a few months back and rewards were paid as expected (with a few random examples of where people should have been but were not, which is what we see every month regardless).BlueonBlue said:Three of my accounts have not tracked so far this month the fourth account has tracked .

In case you do need to complain - I wouldn't be concerned about having 4 accounts unless you've opened them recently, there are some members on here with far more than that from the 'good old days' when there was no upper limit (and even a time in the 00s when they'd pay you to open more of them in branch!).0 -
Yes opened in branch with the offers in 2009/10 ...I think it was .
Once had a customer service advisor on the phone threaten me with closure but she was your typical traffic warden type.
Another was actually very helpful I dont know if he had a few himself but he knew the score.0 -
I'm a bit like you but only have 3 accounts. All conditions met during the first week of Jan but still showing as not met. I will also wait till around the 12th Feb before saying anything.BlueonBlue said:Three of my accounts have not tracked so far this month the fourth account has tracked .

Mine is tracking my spend within the first few days of January. It must have broken mid month ish as I was paid then, but according to the tracker I haven’t paid in enough.
I will leave it and put in a complaint if I am charged the £3 account fee.0 -
Your payment in mid January relates to rewards earned with account activity in December.Kim_13 said:Mine is tracking my spend within the first few days of January. It must have broken mid month ish as I was paid then, but according to the tracker I haven’t paid in enough.

The tracker has absolutely nothing to do with payment of reward, we have proven this quite comprehensively; both when it has said rewards are on track and yet they haven't subsequently been paid out automatically, and also when it has claimed rewards are not on track even though criteria were met and rewards were subsequently paid out.0 -
By paid I didn’t mean by Halifax, I mean receiving my income which would have taken the paid in amount above the £1,500 required for the account fee waiver and payment of January’s reward. As you say, I may be paid out in February regardless of the tracker saying I’m not on track.WillPS said:

I received December’s £5 on the 13th (as the 12th was a Sunday.) The last activity reflecting on the tracker is from the 3rd, so the tracker must have broken sometime between the 4th and 13th of this month.0 -
Like you my account last tracked a small payment on the 2nd of Jan and nothing since.Kim_13 said:Mine is tracking my spend within the first few days of January. It must have broken mid month ish as I was paid then, but according to the tracker I haven’t paid in enough.

Your experience matches with mine; my wife and I completed all our spend on Jan 1st, all the transactions have a Jan 2nd settle date. It seems somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd it got stuck.
But yes, we've been here before and rewards were all paid.1
