I was worried yesterday when my rewards didn't credit, but I'm greatly reassured to know it's everyone and not just me. I'm sure they will appear eventually. Thanks to everyone else who posted.5

12th is the most common payment date but there have been random occasions mine has arrived much later in the month than that, and a few times not at all (despite having an active reward and fulfilling criteria).
And in regards to how long I have been getting the reward I was just guessing but you are right I just checked and I started sometime in 2020
It's free money at the end of the day. They could have done a bit better communicating it is a bit delayed, but that's a minor whinge.0 -
I messaged Halifax. They are aware of the delay and said that the reward should be received by tomorrow.12

My backside its free.... no bank has ever done anything for free and never will.
You can play the banks game of offers but over "your lifetime" the bank will take/make and so get its share .

Obviously the bank are offering it with the intention of making money somewhere, but my reckoning they will make nothing from £1500 being transferred in and £1000 back out. They will possibly receive some commission from Visa for the interchange on the £500 debit card transaction, but unless you do it outside the UK the amount of interchange revenue is capped at 0.2%; in other words Visa and Halifax get £1 worth of interchange revenue to split amongst themselves.
£1 is significantly less than £5, so it follows that if this is all you do (and it's all Halifax ask you do) then Halifax will 'lose' at least £4.
Anything you do over and above this is your choice.2 -
My reward notification just popped up on my phone while reading this!0
