    :D Morning all,

Happy new year to you all.

we stayed up and saw the new year in, with a bottle of fiz for me, and OH had cider (does not like fiz), well he ended up getting quite drunk, and being very funny, almost had to put him to bed  , but we had a good night

I hope this year will be a good one for all of us, I don't make resoloutions, but I am determined to get a breadmaker soon, will go off and research the best ones in a mo.

Oh managed to buy a camcorder on ebay last night its worth about £200, but he got it on buy it now for £10 :confused: we are half expecting an e-mail saying they listed it wrong, but nothing yet, looks like huge bargain :T

Got an easy dinner of sausage chips and beans today :D , trying to empty the freezer.
Happy birthday to pen pen DH
Sola I dont think your washing will dry outside today I hung mine out yesterday, and it was as wet when I got it in, its just too damp x

    Morning Everyone,
    Happy New Year !!
I`m a bit of a late riser today because of our very late night last night, all went well and although by 10 o`clock i really did want to curl up in front of the telly i stuck a smile on.
DH did ask me what was wrong and got the standard "nothing why?" but considering i was so tired i think i did rather well.:D

We got home about 1ish and i managed to get the washing machine on and the dishwasher and breadmaker too, the chicken didn`t get put in the slowcooker though as i fell asleep so i`ll either have to do it in the oven with lots of other things at the same time or put it in tonight.
The dogs are still asleep as we walked them about 2am and DH is still in bed so i have the sofa to myself, when i`ve had another cuppa i might drag myself off to clean the kitchen as it looks like a bomb site in fact i can vaguely remember something from last night concerning DH toast and a fire so the battery at the bottom of the stairs is probably from the smoke alarm
Have a fab new years day everyone whether you`re running around doing chores and errands working or just lounging and chilling!

Good morning everyone and happy new year!

Have the TD and WM on already and am off to Homebase once I'm ready, to pick up new rollers and brushes. Unfortunately it was a false economy getting cheap paintbrushes, bleh! I'm getting there though and hope to get some things sorted so that OH can continue with the decorating when hes off next week. We've been offered some free carpet, but where it's gonna go depends on its size compared to the room sizes etc.

Need to sit and write my list of chores for the day-a coffee and a yogurt, and a browse on here is needed first though!

    Happy New Year Everyone

Isn't it great to wake up in 2008 :D make the most of it folks, time travels fast, soon we will be at the end of jan and into Feb, life is too short for petty arguments or getting stressed over silly little things that don't really matter.

Our children and family matter the most, it's out duty to ensure this year is even better then last. I'm hoping to turn a few new leafs, mostly to cuddle my kids more then i do and to tell them everyday how much i love them and how special they are to me.

I would like to thank all you on this board, i don't post a lot but i do lurk and most of the time i'm in stitches in what i write. I have used many of the recipes and tips on here and would like to wish you all the best and hope i see you more.

Oh well, kids are still in bed, ha ha they must be knackered, so i'm off to make myself a cuppa tea to enjoy before they wake up, but i bet that as soon as i sit down i hear "mum" ;) it always happens, you hope for a quiet 5 mins but you never get it
    :D

pipkin, I was so glad to read yesterday that your little nephew is now on the mend.

    Thanks peony.

He is on the mend thankfully.

Poor little mite suffered a collapsed lung and pnuemonia on top of his seizure, so he is a pretty miserable little chappy at the moment but getting better.

    Pipkin xxxx
