@PloughmansLunch Last time I manually changed my Moneybox linked account it was fairly straightforward and I did in in the app without any requirement to talk to customer support. The time before however I got referred for extra checks and had to provide a bank statement, but this was fairly straightforward to do. I agree it takes a while though and the process leaves a bit to be desired.1

Lastly, they say you can only have up to £30 cashback per year. Do we know if this is calendar year or from the date of opening the current account? The former would allow to bank this again in January but doubt it that they are that generous and rather think they'll make me we wait until November 2025 (if the offer is still there then). How the Direct Debit cap works
You'll earn cashback on your first £1,500 of Direct Debits each year, which can be spent in one go or spread across multiple months. Once you hit the £1,500 cap, you won’t earn any more cashback until your allowance resets, which will happen each year on the date you opened your account.

I had the offer for the Current Beta account today, and as I've used for a few years without any problems, opted in for it without any hassle.
The only niggle I seem to have at the moment is setting up the Regular saver part, where I was putting in for it to come out on 1st of each month at £300, and tried using First Direct as my source (as that's where my salary is paid).
When I click to finish, and it redirects me to First Direct to confirm, it says that unfortunately something went wrong (on the First Direct app) and sends me back to the Zopa app.
Is it just me being too keen in setting it up on the first day, or has anyone else experienced this?0 -
I feed the RS manually from the current account so not tried to set up Zopa Open Banking money grab.
Have you tried setting up from First Direct as a bog-standard Standing Order?
Could be, as you say, taking a while for Confirmation of Payee details to populate the bank-iverse. Worth trying again tomorrow.1 -
Been on the wait list for about 6 weeks now, heard nothing 😥0

Finally got an in app invite today, not an email. Facial recognition took a while but eventually sorted. 7.5% saver opened and funded!2

I'll probably do what you're doing, as it makes sense to take charge of the transfer each month on pay day0 -

Worst case scenario, I can transfer the money to my Chase account, and move it to the primary access pot
From there it shows on Zopa that I can add money from that account
Thanks for the heads-up though 👍0
