Zopa Current account

In the t&cs I could only see a bit that they may offer cashback from time to time
However, gone back & read email & does mention the cashback but there wasn't anything in the sign up process

Stil waiting for an invite, but looked at app and saw under Help - Bank Account - How do I sign up for a Zopa bank account, you can join a waitlist so did that. Not sure if it will help but will report back if I get an offer.ThePirates said:Finally got an in app invite today, not an email. Facial recognition took a while but eventually sorted. 7.5% saver opened and funded!0 -
Added my name to the list a few weeks ago. Got my invite last night. Account now open. Interested to see how they develop it after beta.0

For those that apply, how long did it take your moneybox dd to set up with Zopa?
also, can your Zopa current account go into an unarranged overdraft or did you have the money sitting in there until the dd came out?0 -
About 2 weeks from opening Zopa CA and linking to Moneybox, you have to fit into Moneybox's rather odd collection cycle which you will either find charming or very annoying.orange-juice said:For those that apply, how long did it take your moneybox dd to set up with Zopa?

Just put £1.5k into the CA the day before DD paid out. Don't think there is any facility for an overdraft at Zopa. Your money will disappear into Moneyboxworld for about 4-5 days before you can withdraw it (which takes another day).1 -
The DD is quite a bit faster for those lucky enough to still have one of the old Egg (NLA) accounts. All done and dusted within 8 working days. I deposited £1,500 into the current account the day before the DD was due.Now waiting for my first Zopa interest/cashback payment date.0

I find the Moneybox procedure rather annoying. Instruction needs to be in by Tuesday, they confirm it on a Wednesday and take the money the following Monday. I did the setup on a Wednesday, hoping for it to be taken on Monday but was told it was too late so need to wait another week. Then have to switch back to Natwest and hope I can squeeze two payments still in to get the Natwest reward.flaneurs_lobster said:

I’m thinking a slightly less stressful way to do it is to wait for the first two direct debits of the month to go out from RBS to Moneybox, then switch over to Zopa and back after the direct debit has gone from Zopa, which should mean the direct debits will be back in place at RBS for two payments to go out in February.pecunianonolet said:
