You could try. I've got a few credit cards and some only take a day or two, and won't let you do it if the direct debit is in process. Others like amex will take your new details but won't switch over until your new statement is produced.

If you change the benefits on your Zopa bank account does the current 4.45% savings account gets it interest reduced or close? Not interested in the free coffee so only interested in the £45 a year payment on DD as against the current £30 offer.
