I know the Moneybox collection cycle starts on a Wednesday, but isn't taken until the following Sunday I believe? How close to the Sunday are you leaving it before making sure you have £150 in your biscuit account?

Or is there a way to swoop the money on a specific date?

Not quite (Sunday is a non-banking day, no DDs processed). The money is taken on the first working day after the weekend, usually Monday, the instruction is submitted to banks on the preceding Thursday.

Since my Zopa reset date is the 3rd, I can set up a 1-off save each month alongside my usual RS feeding. Depending on the day of the week it might mean a week delay, when £150 sits in the CA (still earning 2%).

EDIT : Thinking about this again, don't Zopa process SO/DDs at the weekend? Anyhoo, doesn't matter in this case since the DD is for Monday.

TTBOMK there are no restrictions - any DD will do it.

Why 1-off? Isn't the cashback on £150/mth?

So pay credit card but leave £150 a month for the dd and get 3% cb? = £4.50.
