Zopa Current account

I have both the SmartSaver account and a Credit card with Zopa and have done a few years now with no invitation to Current Account or Regular Saver interestingly, although I have the latest app - checked for updates just in case - I seem to have lost the App Chat function and cannot find it anywhere. Bizarre.

It would be interesting to know if those who have been offered current accounts have OPTED IN to marketing preferences and which out of the 3 available (Special Offers, Updates and Tips, Give Feedback).

I opted OUT of all 3 from word go.

FWIW I am opted in for all of them. Only have a pound in Zopa since a few months, and tbh I only realised this was a good offer because I happened to pay attention to an email about it. I have little reason to open the app these days.

I can't remember off the top of my head what I did but I typically opt in to marketing emails just on the off chance some useful info appears in them (rarely does).

I'd kept my Zopa account at nil since 2022 and was offered the current account about a month ago.

Expecting (?) payment of one-off £30 with interest due, which Zopa pay on monthly anniversary of opening account. So in my case 3rd, but since it's a Sunday probably next day.

I used the chat function on desktop - asked about the Current Account and got put on the "wait list"

£30 added by Zopa to current account as "November Cashback" (along with 62p interest). Moved to RS (along with additional £270) as today is also month anniversary of opening same.
