My switch has just completed. I paid in £1000 and used the debit card once my account was open but before the switch completed. It looks to me that the terms say this is ok for receiving the bonus. Has anyone done this and can confirm that they received the bonus?I note that the recent Co-op offer does say that the payments must be made after completion of the switch, but Nationwide does not seem to say this.0

I did the £1000 in and DC payment before the switch, switch completed on 10/10, no news yet but I will repeat the steps again this week.0 -
I just switched in an account that already had about £1.1k in it, will this count for the 1000 deposit, or will I need to make a cash deposit into this account. The switch completed today.0

pay at least £1000 into your Nationwide account. This will not include transfers from other Nationwide accounts or Visa
credits. If you are switching into an existing Nationwide account, it will not include money already in that account, but
it will include any money you are transferring as part of the switch e.g. the balance from the current account held with
another provider that you are switching from.Let's Be Careful Out There1 -

Terms say they will pay within 10 (presumably working?) days, so I'd give it a bit before making a complaint

My direct debits have been showing in my account for 14 days now, but still not been taken. They say 'pending' is this normal? My switch is in progress now, I thought I had chosen a big enough window for them to be taken.0
