£175 Nationwide Switch Incentive, starting 25/09/2024

New and existing customers/accounts are eligible. Existing customers wishing to switch in to an existing account must do so from online banking (not the app).

Common with previous Nationwide offers:

• Those who've received a switch incentive since August 2021 are excluded
• Two Direct Debits must be transferred as part of the switch
• Complete your switch within 28 days of the request

Within 31 days of requesting the switch you must also:

• Deposit at least £1000 (cannot be transferred from another Nationwide account - there is no stated amount of time the deposit must remain in the account)
• Make one eligible debit card payment. Google/Apple/Samsung Pay are all acceptable for this condition.

There are posts on the Monzo community which said the article said 'from tomorrow' while it was published. (Of course that 'tomorrow' might be relative to an embargo date which was broken.)

I hope so too but, according to my records (which may not be 100% accurate), the past 2 offers have had that same cutoff date

The offer is now live on the website. The switched account needs to have 2DDs and can benefit from the offer if you’ve switched since 18 August 2021. Lots of other terms but those were the ones that stood out to me.

I've just updated the first post with info.

The main new conditions I've noticed are the minimum £1000 deposit and the requirement to use the debit card once within 31 days of *requesting* the switch. It's late though and I'm tired, so if there's anything else worth noting please highlight it and I'll whack it on the first post tomorrow.
