Did anyone get asked for a copy of their passport from Monavate??

Yes, 2 forms of ID were required. Passport /driving licence & a letter with name/address from the last 3 months.

Still not received my refund.  Have just received an email from Monavate to my chase sent at end of Nov 24, saying:

"records indicate that the account details provided are incorrect.
This appears to be due to a formatting issue, where there is a digit missing.
Therefore to speed the process along, would you please provide Bank Name Account Number and Sort Code."

How do I know if this is not some scam, asking for these details plus which Bank Account, I can't remember!

There is not much that can be done with that information apart from paying money in or setting up a direct debit for which the DD guarantee protects you.

A few years ago we were all providing this information plus a signature on every cheque that we wrote.

I would send them an account number and sort code.

I got the same email. It's legit. If you email the requested bank details, you should receive your funds fairly quickly. I received mine within a week. Hope this helps. Good luck 🤞
