The Sun says they had 12k customers in late 2024.
I wonder if April bill will arrive at the end of April to make it before OFGEM deadline0 -

Yeap, this is it, now that it is in one of the daily tabloids it will start a chain reaction of customer leaving, the one thing i was hoping would not happen, something akin to the news telling people not to panic buy toilet rolls as everything will be ok, and we all know how that went..........oh well, i am going to miss my 40 SC,

I might have hit the trigger a few days too late, hope this doesnt cause issues for outbound migrations.0

I think it makes no difference if Sun published it or not, anyone with Tomato is either here (directly or through a friend) or on Facebook group - and they knew all this info way before.
Anyway, I'm staying as long as possible - if they won't make it till next winter I will attempt to go for EON Next Drive - it doesn't say you have to have EV, it just says that if you are found not to have one you could be removed from it - and I'd be OK with 0-7am at 6.7p.4 -

My (second) March TE bill arrived on April 4, with d/d to be taken April 11. So far, that d/d has not left my bank account, although d/d remains active. Anyone else not had their April d/d claimed?
My first bill d/d was claimed on the date shown on that bill.
Yesterday I had my 'how's it all going?' phone call from TE - switched Jan 27. I couldn't pass security as I was on a crowded bus, so I never got to ask why it had n't been claimed.

They've not taken the DDs for either the March or April bills for my stepdaughter (she joined TE late Jan so these are the only bills so far). Likewise we're concerned that paying those outstanding bills may confuse things, or they'll still try and draw the DDs at some point, but that by not paying them it may get a transfer away blocked (should she decide to do so) which is probably also not helped by the fact that TE still haven't submitted the opening read for validation so Octopus can't issue the final bill.0

While still stuck waiting for my switch that will likely never come, I managed to get onto the good Octopus April v1 Tracker tariff before they changed it.
I've phoned TE to request my £80 in compensation be sent to my bank account, and it seems like they're going to do that.
Is there really any good reason not to cancel my switch to TE after I get my money?0
