i don't think you get a pin by post you look in the app

I like the card - easy to scratch off the cvv and exp.date so if list or stolen it is useless

That would create a Catch-22. If you can't/don't use the photo ID + video route, it requires you to have both the card and PIN before you can register. And if you haven't been able to register, you can't view the PIN in the app. Ergo, they must send the PIN by post to people who need it in order to register the app.

good point ! (but is it the pin you need or cvv?)

not that Barclays are averse to catch 22 btw..!

has anyone yet registered using the card as I did it without the card?

PIN. Well, that's what it says, anyway.

Yes, they send you your pin through the post.

Spoke to them today because I'm getting a RG105 error message with the app.

Is Barclaycard quite difficult to qualify for compared to other credit cards? you will need a high credit score?

Do we think this will work with Curve (for Apple Pay) then and will be able to get the cashback or not?

I was told it is supported on Curve but you won't get cashback. You could try it as the cashback is updated 'immediately'

Barclaycard is a very broad market issuer, with products for 'credit building' (Forward) at one extreme and premium products aimed at affluent customers at the other (Avios Plus). In between is a load of mid market cards, and that's where this Amazon card seems to live.

Whatever the criteria they might have are, you can rest assured that it won't be any of the nonsense credit scores which you can see online, because they won't see them.

The only real way to find out if you'll be accepted is to check with them.
