yes definitely use a different browser.
  • I was seriously considering this card as the benefits are quite attractive, but have decided not to apply purely because it can’t be used with ApplePay.

I applied just for the £50 gift card, I won't really use it as all I buy from Amazon nowadays are Kindle books and it will take a few months to use the £50 on ebooks.

Isn't the cashback on non-Amazon spending (1% for the first six months, 0.5% for the next six months) enough to make it worth your while? I probably won't use it outside Amazon when it drops to 0.25%, but it looks useful to me for the first year (except when I can get more cashback with my MBNA Smart Rewards).

Why? You earn rewards with Google Pay...
  • This sounded ideal for me as I use Amazon a lot and have Amazon Prime so it could save me a fair bit of money.  I don’t have any credit cards or loans or bad credit history so thought it would be easy.  Unfortunately when I tried to apply the drop down menu for Mrs, Mr etc doesn't work and you can’t proceed with the application .

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?  I use an iPad for all my computing stuff if that makes any difference.
It’s definitely an iPad/Safari thing. I had exactly the same on consecutive days. Gave up and applied on the laptop and it was fine.

I registered the card in Barclaycard app using the card and pin then it activated in Amazon. Took seconds when card and pin turned up.

because apparently according to a chat i had recently you don't get them via Curve PayPal and digital wallets and I think apple pay is a digital wallet ?

anyway I was surprised but it is worth you double checking if you plan to use apple pay or indeed Google pay

You can't use Apple Pay. You can use Google Pay - your payment will be treated as a normal Visa charge, and it'd be unprecedented to deny rewards based on that.

The PayPal/Curve thing is unusual for Barclaycard but is consistent with how some other issuers treat Curve.
