Doesn't let me apply yet, but I'd be ineligible on account of holding an existing Barclaycard.

£50 reward for signing up
1% at Amazon, 0.25% elsewhere
(boosted to 2%/1% for first 6 months then 1%/0.5% for months 7-12)

4% rewards during "key shopping events like Prime Day"

No annual fee. Rewards payable as Amazon credit in £5 chunks.

Not of interest to me as I normally use gift cards, but not a terrible ongoing offer.

I’d be very interested in this but unfortunately am an existing Barclaycard holder too…. Will keep an eye on it though.
    Best Regards,

I just applied for a Barclay Amazon credit card after reading the Weekly Email and got a £50 Amazon gift card and the cashback is better than the Pulse credit card I currently use.

The only downside is I just bought my daughter a £400 freezer last week and paid it using the Pulse card and there is no cashback for balance transfers. :(

Got accepted a couple of hours ago.

Credit limit double that of my Pulse card.

One of the good things is that it's a Visa card. Only offers I've had recently have been for MasterCard issuers.

£20 for new customers, £50 for returning it seems:

If approved, you'll get a FREE £20 Amazon gift card. This sign-up bonus will be added to your linked Amazon account automatically. Barclays, which runs Barclaycard, told us there's currently no planned end date for this bonus.

If you previously had an Amazon credit card, you may be offered boosted perks. Amazon told us that "most customers" who had an Amazon Classic or Platinum card can currently get a £50 gift card on signing up, plus double the usual spending rewards for six months.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I was offered 50 so I presume our old newday card must have been a joint one, I forget.

Has anyone been accepted for this in the past 24 hours?

Tried last night and today and both times said I was elligible and gave me a expected credit limit but on the next step it says:

We're sorry - something went wrong

Due to a technical error the application could not be submitted and Barclaycard can't give you a result for the Amazon Barclaycard right now.

Your credit rating has not been affected.

    Please try again later.

I have just applied for the Barclaycard using the link above all went through successfully. The link tells you to log onto your Amazon account and then from the Amazon account you press the button to apply.

I immediately got my £50 gift voucher applied to the Amazon account - you then have to go to the app which it downloads for you and finish setting up including uploading a driving licence photo and a short video which then validates the app.

in short I have my £50 voucher added to my gift voucher balance on Amazon and also I have 1% everywhere else and 2% at Amazon cashback. this shows on the app when you spend and there was a button to transfer it to Amazon vouchers when you have reached five pounds.

the app is fully validated using the uploaded driving license and video and I can see my balance which is obviously zero

I applied last night and was accepted and I downloaded the app but since I don't have a credit card number yet I just have the last four numbers, I can't complete the registration
