Would anything happen to the Amazon gift voucher if the card is not used?

You mean the initial £20/£50? I rather doubt it. That's awarded on approval for the card, and is not subject to any other conditions. Whether or not you actually then use the card is irrelevant: that only affects the earning of spending-related additional vouchers. I see nothing in the TS & Cs allowing the withdrawal of vouchers once awarded - though there's plenty about the circumstances in which rewards can be lost prior to their conversion into vouchers.

But why would anyone apply for this card and then not use it, thereby forgoing any ongoing rewards?

In any case, you'd need to define the period for which the card is unused... unless you mean never used before the account is closed.

I hope not because I spent my £20 and closed the card account soon after.

    No idea

You might find a hard search on one of your credit files.

Yes. Just go for the option to upload a photo and a short video. Note, though, that it might take several attempts to get it to accept your photo of your passport or driving licence. You'll probably have to play around getting the lighting and camera angle right.

That's a whole load of pallava.  I will wait till the PIN arrives.

Fair enough. Your choice, of course. But you might have to wait a while. My card arrived last Wednesday, and I've not yet received a PIN by post. (Of course, it's possible that I won't be getting one, since I've already registered on the app, and therefore have no need of it. I don't know if Barclaycard is that clever.)

PS - I'm not certain, but I don't think that you can use your card until you've activated it by registering in the app. If I'm right, this'll mean that you can't yet start earning reward points and hence Amazon vouchers.

Is it me or is there no place for a signature on the card?

It surely can't be the tiny rectangle above the number!?

I have trouble signing my signature on a normal card
