That's a whole load of pallava.  I will wait till the PIN arrives.
If my experience is anything to go by, you'll be waiting a long time. Barclaycard is very slow at issuing PINs by post. I applied for my card on 15 August. The PIN arrived in the post today, 4 September. That's almost three weeks on. I think that's the slowest I've ever experienced.

Going off how !!!!!! the Royal Mail service is now, it's probably been sat in the delivery frame for at least a week whilst they prioritise parcels.

RG105 error is a known issue and Barclaycard are looking into it.

Barclaycard should not have put all their eggs in one basket and also had online activation too

Anyone else getting really peed off now?

Any way to access my Amazon Barclay card account on my computer as I prefer to do my banking on it as my phone is too small and fiddley for my arthritic fingers?

I have Bluestacks on my computer and while it works with some android programs like tado and bright it does not work with the Barclay's app.

    No. It's app only

Yes, it's ruddy stupid that this is the only way you can access your account.

Have you tried using a normal keyboard with your mobile phone?

I use a USB adaptor (plugs into the charger port) that allows me to use my wireless computer keyboard on my phone.

You should be able to use a Bluetooth keyboard as well.

    Agreed. It is stupid.

It's not just arthritic fingers that are a pain with phone screens. Just having large fingers makes using a phone screen awkward. Large and arthritic ones - like mine - are no fun. Using a web browser on my desktop PC - or even a laptop - would make life easier.

And have you tried reading a monthly statement on a phone screen? Uploading to a computer is a necessity, and inconvenient.

Of course, we were told that the card was app only, and weren't forced to proceed with the application, so we just have to accept these things.

But now Barclays is rubbing salt into the wound. I received this e-mail today:

The new Amazon Barclaycard is the only account I've had with Barclays since 1990. I can't access it through their Online Banking (although I'd very much like to). So why on Earth have they done this?

I'm now able to log into my Amazon Barclay credit card on my computer and download my statement directly to my computer.

    Makes it easier to read.

That's great. But how are you doing this? Are you saying that the Amazon Barclaycard is no longer app-only? That I can use Online Banking for it after all? If I could do that, it'd make my life a bit easier, too.

I had the same email and was able to follow the instructions in the message to log in to the web-based banking, as with @JohnSwift10

Oh, so it isn't app-only now, then? And Barclays weren't just taking the **** with their e-mail? That's brilliant.

And I've just managed it, too.

    Thank you.
