coolgardie37 said:How did some get access online on computer for Amazon Barclaycard? My app comes up with error code RG105, and waiting for 2 months. Any advice? As I recall it, you won't be able to get to their web-based Online Banking until after the issue with the phone app has been resolved. You can only authorise access to Online Banking through the app. Yes, it's a lousy system.Have you seen this thread? Have you phoned Barclaycard about getting app access?0

I have tried to make Amazon Barclaycard work on Apple Pay by linking my Amazon Barclaycard to my Curve account and using Curve on Apple Pay.
The good news is that it works. I can use my Amazon Barclaycard on Apple Pay. The bad news is that I am not earning Amazon vouchers - it shows up on the app and says "Not eligible for rewards. Find out why"
And, when I find out why, amongst the exclusions are "Transactions made through third party payment systems like Curve or Paypal".

Yep, unusual for a Barclaycard to be so strict about which type of transactions they will and wont pay rewards on, they're usually amongst the most liberal. I can only think this must be an Amazon stipulation.

Interchange is 0.3% so they need to find between 0.7% and 1.7% somewhere to fund the rewards for those, like me, who won't borrow.
I also think that is why Apple Pay isn't allowed as Apple charge 0.15% and the financials don't stack up if they are paying money elsewhere.0 -

I also think that is why Apple Pay isn't allowed as Apple charge 0.15% and the financials don't stack up if they are paying money elsewhere.Google Pay take the same margin though, so I'm not at all sure it's that. We've not seen the limitation on other Barclays reward cards either (NLA Black Cashback, Reward, Avios, Avios Plus). It could be that it's coming more widely, and this is just the first sign of it.Presuming this arrangement follows the normal formula for co-brand card agreements Amazon will be paying a commission which likely covers the Amazon spend % - possibly a bit more too; the theory is that branded credit cards drive consumer spend and loyalty.Bear in mind also that Barclaycard won't get all that 0.3% of interchange revenue, some of it will be retained by Visa (otherwise they'd earn nothing).0
