Done that but it also stated it can take days on the other side.
Checked Moneybox this morning, nothing received in yet.
Just waiting now on the funds to be coming through to Moneybox.
I cannot remember if I had requested the transfer in-hours or outside business hours, but knowing there were PHs in between, I expected those to delay the process.0 -
Opened Monument to transfer Trading212 ISA into it, just as Monument stop accepting transfers from Tradibg212. Anyone know someone who accepts 212 transfers in so I can transfer out of them again to Monument?
Failing that, I max’d ISA last year and have only contributed a few thousand this tax year. If I withdraw the lot and put in Chase I now have at 4.8% for 6 months. How much can I put into the Monument ISA this year?0 -

Now you withdraw the 5k contribution of this year and put it into Chase. You now transfer your 25k of previous year contributions to another provider accepting T212 transfer ins from T212 (provider A). Your T212 ISA is closed. Once received with A you initiate another transfer from A to Monument.
You can now contribute another 15k of this years allowance to Monument. The 5k transferred to Chase has lost it's tax free status and you cannot add it back to Monument or any other provider.
Funds taken out of a flexible ISA must be replaced into the very same ISA before the end of the tax year. If you don't as in the example above, you forfeit this element of your allowance, 5k here.2 -

Following this thread with interest as I've got a bit of money in a Trading 212 cash ISA and if their interest rate drops much further I might jump ship. Tried to transfer out a few months back, but had trouble finding anywhere that accepted online transfers from them. Ended up withdrawing and depositing manually (yes I know... I wasn't anywhere close to using up my £20k allowance in the tax year).
Aside from the transferring out issue, I've never had any problems with Trading 212, and I like the fact that their ISA is flexible. They've dropped the interest rate by a huge chunk since I opened the account though, so might be looking to move soon.0 -

Sadly because it’s not electronic it also means they will only accept the transfer form by post, seems bonkers that they haven’t even got the ability for the forms to be received via email0
