Re: Starling - I think that £10k is a card spending limit rather than transfers.
in the summary box for the Easy Saver, it does say the following under withdrawals…
Any withdrawals you make will go into your Starling personal account straightaway.
You can make as many withdrawals as you like, and you can withdraw as much as you like (up
to your available account balance). We won't charge you for withdrawals.

Does anyone know if an existing Starling Bank business customer would be eligible for this if they open the Starling personal current account too (using their existing login) ?

I would have thought so - the EA summary says you need an open personal account, be 18+ and resident in the UK.

Anybody tried deleting their current Easy Saver space and seeing if it will let you open the new one that has higher interest rate?

@soulsaver
Notice that Hanley have brought out Boosted Rate Tracker at 4.75% both online and branch versions available.
Only 1 withdrawal per calendar month. Opening balance £1000. Interest rate capped at 5%.
Edited to add….if more than one withdrawal per calendar month, loss of 30 days interest.4 -
Couple of caveats with this one.
Max rate will be 5% so if BR goes above 4%, this account is likely to be uncompetitive. May be good for a month or 3 though.
Secondly max online withdrawal of 10K otherwise you need to secure message them for larger withdrawals (which may require additional information for them to process) . Not sure how much additional time this may add to the withdrawal process.
Would've definitely gone for it if it wasn't for the cap but that makes it a no go for me.

Exactly my history, except the bit where they let me back in. Try every six months or so and again when the latest account was announced.
They really don't like me.

Does anyone know how long they give to make the initial deposit? Could come in useful at the end of the month.

I was going to ask the same question myself - been through the PDF docs and couldn't see it.
however, on their site FAQ, it states..
You have 14 days from the date you submit your application to fund your account.
i've got a RS maturing with Hanley on 21st, but will need to fund before that now.

As Janusd already noted, nothing regarding initial deposit in summary box or pdf download that I could see.
Thinking this account might be useful to park funds for RS's with just one withdrawal per month. Have to do some calculations there first though.1
