My Tesco rate is 4.53%, was available a month ago, might be NLA now. You are right, Cynergy is also a backstop option for me but they aren't as instant as Tesco, so I am happy to forego the 0.2%.

Zopa Bonus Rate

Just wanted to applaud Zopa for extending the bonus rate for another 6 months (if you’ve got the email). They clearly understand looking after existing customers, unlike Chase who aren’t bothered about you after their bonus savings rate is up.

Chase do sometimes offer existing customers a bonus rate, albeit it has been a while. Agree though, well done to Zopa for extending the rate for existing customers.

I received this as well. As you said, good to have. I have used it once when I was late to transfer funds to Cahoot, so I parked the money in Zopa for the night. Gained me 40p, but every little helps. Good that they've extended it.

Interesting that they're telling people it's a reward for paying direct debits or keeping a £10k balance, but that you'll need to carry on doing so to keep the bonus. In my email (having done neither of these) there's no such congratulatory pat-on-the-back, but they're saying the 1.5% bonus can still be extended from 21st October 2026 to 22nd April 2027 by either:

• 
  Setting up at least one Direct Debit from your Biscuit bank account and keeping it active until 22nd April 2027.
• Keeping a total of £10,000 or more in your Access pots until 22nd April 2027.

So looks to be the same outcome for all existing Zopa customers with the account.

Note the wording strongly implies that failing to do the above before 21st October means the bonus will end, and adding a direct debit or £10k balance after that date won't reinstate the bonus - so use it or lose it!
