I don't like Saffron. Their recent ISA transfers were a mess even 2 months after they were "overwhelmed" by a short-lived producrt, and the staff were entirely unapologetic. You can also expect them to do their bait-and-cut thing and trim the interest rate on this account, probably when the MPC increases rates in November because they are that shameless.

I agree with this, moved ISA away, had to ask for interest payment evidence and had to tell them I raise a complaint otherwise. They gave 3 times wrong info until they looked into it and provided corect info and corrected things.
I opened the EA account and it will hold 1 quid to retain membership for maybe a good regular saver in the future but that's it.

Did they pay the wrong interest?

My funds left on 2nd Sep my ISA, arrived and were credited on the 3rd in Progressive. They initially said they also paid me interest for the 2nd, which didn't make sense and claimed they sent funds via faster payment to Progressive. I had a gap of one day, Progressive in the end as goodwil gesture as they claimed backdated the one day. A day's worth of interest was a bit over 12 quid and ISA guidance is that there shouldn't be any interest gaps. I had other issues with Saffron before and had to raise complaints and they backdated an ISA and paid almost 130 quid in backdated interest. OH also needed some complaints to get things sorted. The staff is nice and friendly but their processes are slow. Only ISA experience so EA might be much different and without issues.

Saffron - my spreadsheet note says it's same working day if requested before 4pm, anything after that is next working day - their FAQ says the same, so if still correct, weekend withdrawals might not be so quick.

I had a gap of a week or two so i will monitor this like a hawk when my interest gets credited. Thank you.

@soulsaver - OakNorth Easy Access Tracker 4.35% seems to have been removed from Moneyfacts, but is still available on the OakNorth site - so possibly going NLA later today?
also, the Zopa 4.56% account is showing as 4.51% in your Top 10.

@soulsaver - Stafford BS Access One Saver Issue 1 4.60% is now NLA.
Stafford BS Access One Saver Issue 2 4.60% - £50k min; £450k max; Annual Interest; 1 penalty-free withdrawal.

Thank you. Just moved my existing Saffron account to Online Bonus Saver 2. The easiest change I've ever done.
I phoned and it was all done immediately. No change in account number, no messing about opening and transferring money. Able to view account immediately. Good service.

According to Moneyfacts, Ecology BS will launch an Ecology Single Access Saver (4.25% AER, monthly interest, min £2k, available online, reverts to another product from 1 Nov 2027.
Granted, it won't quite make the Top 10.
