Progressive BS - let's try this again! - Moneyfacts is now listing a Progressive BS 1 Year Double Access Saver Account (Issue 1) 4.30% to be launched on 14th September (next Monday) - £1 min, £5million max; 2 withdrawals per year (changes to Instant Access a/c if more than 2 withdrawals)… at this stage, it's being listed as branch/postal opening only (so not tagging in soulsaver), but will check again when launched.
I don't think this will be another ISA account (not least because of the issue number).

At the moment the markets seems to be factoring in a likely hold of base rate on 17th September. But from the 5th November onwards (next but one decision) looks like there is a likelihood of base rate increases totalling a full 1% over the next year as you say. Or at least that's what the markets are estimating as an average outcome.
These are close of business forward rates from the yield curve yesterday. Forward rates are rates at a point of time (or the limit around a single point of time as that period gets smaller and smaller). You can see the one month rate is around base rate (3.76% vs 3.75%) and at 12 months it's 4.89%

Progressive already have a cash isa matching that description on their website (but issue 20). It is branch/postal application only. They also have an online version (Issue 5), but that clearly has online in the title too.
It seems that their current naming convention is that if the account can be opened online, then online is in the title, typically the first word.

Not going to get into the TOTPs list, but for those not chasing the last 0.01% interest rate, the Family BS Market Tracker Saver Issue 1 (or 2 which is NLA) will be increasing from 3.93% to 4.05% wef 01-Oct-2016, essentially fixed for 3 months. (as it gets updated every 3 months)
max 20 withdrawals per calendar year, max £25k per day withdrawal, min £100 per withdrawalSource: email received
They've also got an Online Saver Issue 12 that currently pays 4.15%, but that is variable. Having said that, my previous issue (NLA) pays the same rate and hasn't changed since January 2026.
Min £100 balance requirement, but otherwise unlimited access, subject to the withdrawal restrictions as above.

Cahoot instant access are paying 4.52% , have been consistently competitive over the last year I've been with them and give 2 months notice of a rate drop.

Whilst I quite like Cahoot myself, I fear you are looking through rose tinted spectacles.
According to my records, the Cahoot Simple Saver paying 4.52% was only launched last month.
In fact, since January 2026, they have launched no less than 4 different versions all paying varying amounts from as low as 3.55%
The only consistency is that they rarely change the rate of the version you open, so the 2 months notice of a rate drop is somewhat academic. The accounts only last 12m until they morph into a cahoot maturity savings account paying 1.00% (although you can now upgrade them quite easily online to the latest version, if you remember to)

I'd also say they are consistently competitive - I remember that low you referred to, however nobody in the higher paying accounts were forced onto that low rate and unless someone chose to jump in at that very point, customers before and after the 3.55% rate will have continued to be able to enjoy savings rates at or close to the leading edge, for the best part of a year, without interruption.

I've had a significant amount in a Cahoot Simple saver for well over a year. The trick is as mentioned above to open a new simple saver each time they offer a higher rate than older versions or stick with an earlier version when the new customer rate is lower which it has been at times. If you have done that you will have got a competitive rate throughout the year. This is the Cahoot Simple Saver interest rate I've achieved over the past year

Or just open a
Family BS Market Tracker Saver Issue 1,sit back, and relax. 😊
By the nature of the account, it will never be the the best paying easy access account, but also will never be uncompetitive.
e.g. Whilst Cahoot was only paying 3.55%, (and indeed probably still is if you opened and still have that account, and in 6 months time will be paying 1% probably)
Family BS Market Tracker Saver Issue 1,was paying 3.88%, and as I posted will increase to 4.05% next month.Edit: people who managed to secure the previous cahoot simple saver version would have got 4.05%, but if they opened it when launched, that would be reducing to 1% in a little over 3 months time

Just upgrade all of your Simple Savers and get 5%...
