Is there a daily transfer limit out of starling personal current account? Couldn’t find on website or terms.

I don't have Starling but I was able to find this, which seems to imply that each individual has their own limit?

Payment limits apply to your personal account. You can process payments in the app, and should we need any further information to approve the payment, we'll get back in touch with you in-app. In some circumstances, you may be asked to provide some evidence regarding your payment. We review the information you provide between 9 am and 5 pm on business days.

Please note the Faster Payments scheme has a £1,000,000 per transaction limit. If you wish to send payment over this amount, the payment will need to be sent via CHAPS.

If you require a CHAPS payment, please get in touch via the app. Please note there is a £20 charge for each CHAPS payment.

Thanks, yes saw that too but didn’t think it necessarily implied each person having their own limits. Might give them a call to clarify anyway as wanted to know just incase I needed to withdraw the entire amount from the easy access savings on one day.

At the beginning of application process they show the list of limits. Can't remember them all now, but there was spending limit £10k per day. Don't know if it applies to FPs or DC payments.

My application was unsuccessful. I went as far as set up my password, already had my passport and face ready for ID check and the next thing appeared was the message "Unfortunately we can't offer you an account… and we can't give you the reason". I've never had my application refused by any bank or building society before. Not a big deal, I only wanted it for their 5% EA and I have a handful of them already😀

just as a quick follow-up to this - I previously had a Starling current account, but used it in a switch offer when setting up a current account elsewhere a few years ago and thus been blocked from using Starling again ever since.

I installed the app again yesterday, it recognised my phone number and logged me in… upon doing the id checks (passport etc), it created a new personal account for me and I was also able to open the 5% Easy Saver.

worth noting two things - firstly, there is no sortcode/account number, so like Revolut, funding is via the personal account (which is instant); secondly, it's probably not technically App Only - as you can login via desktop to manage the accounts (though you would need the app to scan a QR code).
