Withdrawals from my Cahoot Simple Saver to my current account are instant (same as Santander)

Instant (FPS immediate as they are part of Santander). They are a bit of a pain with initial sign up as you have to wait for a snail mail letter to get full access etc but once set up it’s all good. No app so you have to use the website and IMHO their 8 character OTP at each login is a bit weird compared to anyone else, although some may argue more secure.

Cahoot Simple Saver - Reminder: In view of the 2027 changes to saving tax rates, and depending on your own tax position, it may be better choosing monthly interest.

Sorry for my ignorance but how would choosing monthly interest over yearly help with tax?

For someone paying tax on interest, it's simply that some interest will be taxed at a lesser rate this tax year than next if interest is taken monthly.
If interest is taken annually (for an account opened today) then all interest will be paid in the next tax year.

There will be an extra 2% tax on savings from next year e.g 22% instead of 20% for basic tax payers above the savings allowance.

The Moneyfactscompare page for easy access savings accounts has had a redesign at some point in the recent past and I can't seem to find a tick box to filter for existing member accounts. Does this still exist somewhere or has it been done away with entirely? How are people staying up to date with existing member offerings?
Ditto the page for cash ISAs and the option to filter for allowing transfers…
If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.0 -
it was previously posted that someone had complained to Moneyfacts (Friday before last I think) about the member accounts issue… I assume if something relevant is offered, it will be mentioned in these forums.
