Coventry BS, newly launched today: 3 Access Saver - 1 Year (2) 4.30% variable AER (for first 12 months)
NB: The above replaces Coventry's 4 Access Saver - 1 Year (4.15% variable) which is now NLA.

For me it's replacing Coventry's 3 Access Saver at 4.25% that I opened on 27 Feb 26.
I closed my previous Coventry 4 Access Saver at 4.15% on 6 Apr 26 (wanted to take interest in this tax year).

I think Oxbury may have just pulled there top saver account replaced with issue 2 at 3.27%

Let's hope they don't reduce the issue 1 rate too quickly

…they could at least wait until I've funded the chuffing thing….

I know it's a 1 year fixed but the new 4.9% rate Marcus are offering is good considering you can get early access if needed subject to a 90 days interest penalty. That's rare to find on non ISA fixed rate savings. Could be helpful for some.

Not easy access, so wrong thread.
There are a couple of easy access 5%ers kicking about (Revolut, Lemfi) for those who are eligible.1 -
That'll be why I started the post "I know it's a 1 year fixed but…"
Usually you can't access fixed savings at all within the term. Consider this a blend of both for those it suits.3
