Hi all. I opened a Chase Savings account (and Current account) a couple of years ago and the interest rate was largely competitive. However iirc it always had a "bonus" element you had to ask for. I just noticed it's now only 2.5% and there's no "bonus" ("booster"?) applied anymore. Is there any way of getting a better rate with Chase and avoid the faff of opening a new account somewhere else? Thanks.0

There is no "booster" for existing customers at the moment. The last one was introduced on 28th April 2025 currently paying 4.3%, but it's no longer available. So the answer is "no". If you want to get a decent rate you need to put your money elsewhere.AdamC_2 said:Hi all. I'm new to Cahoot though my principal bank is Santander. I opened a Cahoot Simple Saver, in a few days it was confirmed that it was successful. The sort code, account number was provided so I sent £200 by FP. It hasn't come back. I was told that I would get letters with all the information to create my online account to operate things. Needless to say, the post being what is, I've not received anything, but it is early days.
Then, out of the blue, I get a message to say they want more ID information, copy documents, etc!
Is this usual?0 -
True EA entries are easy access savings accounts which can be opened, and the headline interest rate earned, with a minimum balance of no more than £10. These accounts allow unlimited withdrawals. The table excludes fee-charging accounts, accounts limited to smaller balances, and accounts only available through savings marketplaces. Instant True EA entries are those True EA entries that advertise immediate deposit and withdrawal times 24/7. Highlighted entries show changes to the respective table since last time: blue for new entries, red for rate reductions, green for rate increases.Starting off with a mea culpa and a thank you to @chris_the_bee for pointing out Kent Reliance @ 4.41% on the last scorecard was actually an Instant True EA. It has since been replaced by a new issue @ 4.33% thus the red entry in the first table but blue entry in the second. As expected, a lot of rates declining across the scorecard. Of the survivors, Charter had the lowest fall (0.05%), and Snoop the most dramatic (0.30%). Spring and Starling are yet to move at all. Tesco continued its pattern of changing its rate in the lead up to the base rate decision so remains unchanged for now.* UBL UK also has a 4.18% offering but I go by the order on Moneyfacts Compare, which I believe is alphabetical.I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.19 -
Hi, is anyone else not receiving notifications for new posts on bookmarked threads? I’ve not had any since 21 August including this one.1

You refer to an app for Cahoot savings accounts - as far as I can see online (and in the Google Play store) Cahoot don't seem to offer an app?janusdesign said:
it had to happen eventually - I can report the upgrade option still works as I upgraded my Issue 9 (paying 4.41%) to another Sunny Day Saver (put £3k in) and then opened an Issue 11 (put £1 in) - both are reporting the correct rates on the site and in the app (though they were before funding too).SnowMan said:Cahoot Simple Saver issue 10 paying 4.55% AER no longer available. You can use the Santander app if you log in with your Cahoot details. Albeit not with full functionality.dcs34 said:
