With EA rates dropping, if you have a Santander current account, their monthly regular saver is easy to open and manage, pays 5% fixed and you can withdraw with no loss of interest. Only downside is you can only put in £200 a month.1

Monument Easy Access Savings account interest rate will change from 4.29% to 4.03% AER (variable) on 28 May 2025.
For Monument tri (limited access) the interest rate will change from 4.75% AER to 4.23% AER (variable) on the same date.

In the case of most building societies I'd say so but I seem to recall in previous rate cuts they've missed off the Home Deposit Saver despite it also dropping so I'd be weary of making the assumption it shall remain unchanged in this case.schiff said:
