I've had an account with them for years, since the Bank of Cyprus days, and found them excellent on the phone.RiojaDave said:Cynergy Bank nightmare. Been with them since 2017. Now been trying to contact them for 6 days but they do not answer the phone and do not call back. I have been trying to transfer out part of a Cynergy bank ISA to another company. Cynergy have emailed me several times and told me to phone them to confirm the transfer, but they never answer the phone, they take five days to answer a secure message, and don't respond to emails at all. In the meantime, my cash is sitting in their rubbish interest account and I've had to take out some ISA funds as non-ISA cash to meet some financial commitments. This is total rubbish Customer Service and Cynergy should be avoided at all costs. How they can claim good service awards is beyond me........At the moment, I've only got £1 in my account to keep it open.1 -
Must be a long list! Expect every institution will cause someone some grief at some point.jaypers said:

For balance I've used Cynergy for a few years and never had any issues, they answer the phone to me and were quite helpful when I spoke to them a while back.RiojaDave said:Cynergy Bank nightmare. As with any bank/building society if you're having issues I would just complain and see if you can get some money out of them as an apology2 -
Yep I’ve been able to open the new issue last night and I have the previous issue with funds in. This has turned out very handy because I wasn’t enjoying a non true instant access account for funds over the £3k.allegro120 said:

I phoned & CS says you cant't have simultaneous issues.
They said the system will allow you to open multiples, but Santander could write informing you of a rule violation and requesting any duplicates to be closed.
The T's&C's state:-
You can have a maximum of two cahoot Sunny Day Saver accounts – one in your sole name and one that you hold jointly with someone else.0 -
You wouldn’t expect to get anything but the party line from CS.chris_the_bee said:

Could we not phone Cahoot CS and wake sleeping dogs please😉17 -
Thanks for info - I guess I will open the new one at 5% as it's better than the 4.75% one I have, then fund the new one with both at £3k and wait for them to ask me to close the old one.Cahoot

A letter from the future...
Dear Pirates,
We have considered your appeal against non-payment of interest on two of your Sunny Day Saver accounts. We do not deny we accepted deposits of £3,000 in each of your three accounts, however we must point out that the maximum sum for these accounts is an illogical £2 million; the £3,000 figure is merely the maximum balance on which interest is paid. As the terms and conditions clearly state that interest on Sunny Day Saver deposits above £3000 is not payable, it matters not two hoots whether you have £9,000 or £900,000 of them. In short, we have you over a barrel. Would you like to complete a short customer satisfaction survey about your experiences with Cahoot?
Thanks in advance,
the Cahoot team.2 -
My interest is paid monthly and I receive it on more than one issue of the sole Sunny Day savers that I hold.nottsphil said:
