Yes, you can have as many issues as you like simultaneously.BigBlueSky said:

The same here. My issue 1 morphed into 1% Savings Account a while ago, but all other issues are running. I have 2 accounts per issue. Issue 4 is a bit useless at the moment, but I take a full advantage of issue 2, 3 and now 5.mon3ysav3r said:

you can send them a secure message to close an account - i've done that without issue last year with a Simple Saver.35har1old said:

NB you can have more than £3K in it, it's just that interest is only payable on that slice.
I have a previous issue but it's too much trouble for Cahoot to tell me which one on my online console.
So, do I simply close my current one and open this one?
they may ask for you to confirm your address via another secure message, but once done, it will be closed within a couple of days... as others have suggested, it's easier to empty the account yourself first before closing to make things simpler at their end... and perhaps if receiving interest monthly, leave it for a month or two to ensure there is no lingering interest for them to pay.
on another topic, just opened that Kent Reliance account - all went smoothly and will make my initial deposit tomorrow once CoP works... I assume the £1k opening deposit has to be made in one go rather than a £1 test deposit and then the remainder afterwards ?2 -
it pays instantly.CricketLady said:Does the Cahoot Sunny Day Saver (Issue 5) 5% £3k max pay any withdrawals instantly(ish) please? Or do they take overnight xx

FWIW, I also tried that earlier this year, and was told that they don't do account closures via secure message (despite there being an option in the drop down menu for it, IIRC), so had to phone them.janusdesign said:35har1old said:

I've never closed a Cahoot account, but always thought it would be the same procedure as with Santander. I've stopped closing dormant accounts a while ago, too much hassle, but even if I liked closing them I wouldn't close Simple Saver because I have a lot of payees already set up there. It's easier for me to internally transfer a lump sum and do my monthly RS distribution from SS than setting it all up with new Sunny Savers.janusdesign said:

Cynergy Bank nightmare. Been with them since 2017. Now been trying to contact them for 6 days but they do not answer the phone and do not call back. I have been trying to transfer out part of a Cynergy bank ISA to another company. Cynergy have emailed me several times and told me to phone them to confirm the transfer, but they never answer the phone, they take five days to answer a secure message, and don't respond to emails at all. In the meantime, my cash is sitting in their rubbish interest account and I've had to take out some ISA funds as non-ISA cash to meet some financial commitments. This is total rubbish Customer Service and Cynergy should be avoided at all costs. How they can claim good service awards is beyond me........0

That’s another on for my ‘do not use’ list. Thanks.RiojaDave said:Cynergy Bank nightmare. Been with them since 2017.
