Yes, the 1% boost on the Boosted Chase Saver account that was launched around June last year (IIRC) ends today.liger said:Is today the last day for the boosted chase interest rate? so move the savings tomorrow when the rate goes down?
Heads up. I used the wrong account (i.e. not linked) to send money to GH. It took 30 hours to get the money back from GH.
After the internal transfer between Chase saver and everyday account, it took 90 minutes from sending it from Chase to GH, so not too bad.1 -
@soulsaver : Secure Trust Bank now shows their "Access Account" at Savings accounts - Secure Trust Bank at 4.45%, and the T&Cs say it's Issue 20, effective from 14 Jan 2025 (the no char front page has Issue 19 at 4.65%).
And the Close Brothers link goes to a "this account no longer available" page:Sorry, this account is not currently available4 -
I don’t think so. I have just moved my funds out. It seems loyalty counts for nothing today![Deleted User] said:
I wonder if a mass exodus will lead to Chase at least bumping it back up a little. Wishful thinking!refluxer said:

It seems to be still available when logged into online banking as an existing customer though so I can't see anything at present to stop you from applying for one of their other accounts, not funding it and then opening the EA account in online banking.uscool said:Gatehouse EA doesn't seem to be available anymore1 -

I didn't spend much time on it, but it doesn't seem any advantage over the still available 4.85% AER Easy Access Saver Account | Chip?
Is the latter becoming NLA to new customers?
As jaypers said, looks like the unlimited withdrawals is the only difference. Also this one's bonus rate only applies for 6 months, as opposed to 12. Both accounts existed before the bonus rates applied so I wouldn't take this to mean the higher rate one is about to go NLA.
I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.1 -
Chase was the best for EA savings when they launched 1.5% account until others followed the suit by offering better rates and since then Chase has never offered the top rate. Even when the boost brought it to 5%, I kept my EA money elsewhere @5.2%. I always have some money in Chase Saver, but only a small amount for easy internal transfers because I use Chase for cashback. I like their model, like the app and probably will never leave Chase, but won't use Chase Saver as my main EA account until it will get to the top of the table again.[Deleted User] said:
