Are Gatehouse EA withdrawals 24/7 or office hours only? Ta.
If you want to receive money on the same day, you have to make a withdrawal before 1pm (working days only). Withdrawals can take up to 7 hours to arrive, at least in my recent experience.

Is same day withdrawals a recent(ish) development?
IME, withdrawals were always next working day (though it's been while since I made any).

I have only done a couple of test it. When I did one in the evening it was transferred at 10am the next day. The day time one I did happened in just under two hours. I believe they use faster pay.

Just wasted my time setting up a Cahoot account. I have 7 accounts now and don't think this was a worthwhile addition.

Firstly, it has no app and the platform looks like it was designed by a 6th former in their bedroom.
    The interest rate is 3.93%.

I'll stick with my 4.5% from Chase until Thursday and then flip to Gatehouse at 4.65%.
The Gatehouse transfers are a little clunky but been happening same day.
once you login on the website, their site is virtually the same as Santander's - just purple instead of red... i've been with them for decades and if you've already gone through the rigmarole of waiting for letters in the post to authenticate the account, you might as well keep it as they often offer savings accounts with leading rates.

nice tip about using the Santander app for Cahoot - needed to uninstall and reinstall it, but logging in with Cahoot details worked perfectly. I also installed Santander's business app to give me access to my Santander personal accounts.

That explains my issue as I couldn't get it to work as it just remembered my Santander account. I can't be bothered to uninstall/install every time to switch accounts.
I'm sure I'll keep it in the background in case they offer any worthwhile products.

Also tried their 2nd app and it takes log in details but doesn't send an sms. Tech!!!

Use 2 different devices if you want to use the app against Cahoot & Santander (or if you've got Samsung's Secure Folder or equivalent then you can run a version in and outside on the same device).

Quite possibly will be tomorrow. I always send before 1pm M-F and usually get an SMS and an email confirming receipt between 13:05 - 13:10.
