Afternoon all and i'm feeling as flat as the weather, hoping the sun that is on the way will lift my spirits.

Work this morning so that's a few more pounds made, I have a mountain of laundry to do but leaving it until tomorrow when i can get it out on the line to dry.
DH had a hospital appointment this morning and as he passes a M&S i sent him to get some BBQ bits for the weekend as I had a £25 giftcard, he spent £27 and got some nice sausages and burgers which will do several meals. I have sent £25 across from the grocery budget to hols pot 2.
£9 paid out from v1nted and paid to hols pot 1, couple of surveys done but nothing close to paying out.
Tea tonight is some chicken, pepper and red onion that i've marinated in some fajita seasoning thats been in the cupboard for forever, will serve on flatbreads with a few fries on the side. might chuck together some coleslaw as well.
Few bits from the garden today, small dish of strawberries, spinach leaves and 2 raspberries, also 2 eggs from the girls, which ihad for lunch scrambled with spinach in a wrap.

    Hols pot 1 -£749
    Hols pot 2 - £1368

Morning, managed to sleep from 9pm through until 5am so 8 hours solid and feel better for it.

Yesterday was a spendy day, went into small town to get a birthday present and card for my friend that i was meeting later in the day, popped into save the children charity shop as they sell nice cards for £1, had a browse and found a lovely M&S BNWT breton style top for £4, a lovely cream wooden dressing table mirror and i've had this on my CS list for ages for £6, the lady that served said they had literally just had it dropped off and had put it straight out, a cream wooden tray £2 and then just as i was paying i spotted a rack of coats to the side of the till, decided to have a quick look for a rain jacket and i found an immaculate Northface lightweight windcheater jacket for £10, I literally skipped out of the shop in joy, I did leave behind a lovely phase eight dress that was cream linen unfortunately or fortunately i noticed that there was some makeup/fake tan marks around the neck line, also left a lovely green linen top as i have something similar and a pair of navy cord seasalt trousers, these i regret leaving now.
So my personal spends took a battering but i'm happy and 2 items off my want list have been ticked off. £24 in charity shop and £10 on a present for friend.
Went to see friend for coffee and cake and to drop off present, which was lovely and perked me up.

Spent an hour in the garden after tea, fed/watered everything, picked a dish of strawbs and a handful of raspberries, also had salad leaves and radishes with tea, girls produced 2 eggs.

Plans for today are work first thing then a grocery shop, home, lunch and an afternoon in the garden with my new book.

Morning, what a horrid day it is out, at least the plants will be happy.

Few spends over the last few days
Grocery spends came in at Mr A £70.98, Booth$ £10.50 and then i used some buffer money and stocked up at the butchers on BBQ stuff £43.
Money in and have sent £200 to regular saver, £40 to hols pot 1, £42 to hols pot 2 and £80 to emergency pot. Cleared CC £70 this was for dog food and some kitchen bits (new tin opener, baking trays and a knife sharpener).
Also had £5 from v1nted sale and £20 in from 0nep0ll which has been sent to hols pot1 and i've hit this months target for both pots which now stand at hols pot 1 £814 and hols pot 2 £1510.
I have done my budget for July and have set my targets, Hols pot 1 £1000 and hols pot £1800, this doesn't include what DH saves for holiday as he has a separate savings account as he tends to have a few weekends away fishing.

I'm hoping this weather clears out as the day goes on as i have a mountain of washing to including dog blankets, also want to hoover through the upstairs and my bedroom could do with a reset, I've taken some sliced beef left over from a previous meal from the freezer which we will have with roast potatoes, yorky puds, carrots and green beans and probably strawberries and ice cream for pud, leftover pasta for lunch.

Morning all, not a lot happening apart from work and gardening, just plodding along.

Plans for today are to hit the local town and visit all 5 charity shops as DD wants to see if she can find a couple of holiday dresses as she is away next week. I also need to do a grocery shop and pop into the pet shop.

Few more pounds have been sent to hols Pot 1 which is now at £881
