Afternoon, yesterday turned into a busy day, work in the morning followed by a quick lunch and then met up with a friend for coffee and a walk. Also had dog training and was super proud of young doggo as she has made huge progress and something we have been working on for a while just clicked for her yesterday. Both dogs came home with rosettes so i was super happy.
Slept terribly last night and woke fuzzy headed, not helping with the weather being so warm and muggy.
Money in and shuffled around, need to open a new regular saver as my current one with Nwide matures in the next few day. £100 sent to emergency pot and money to both H pots.
HP1 £1098
HP2 £1806
Spendy morning £10 in the pet shop on treats, £73 in Mr al and £55 in Mr S, spent more than i wanted but i bulked bought some bits as it worked out cheaper and a couple of meat items were whoopsied, so next weeks grocery shop should be minimal.
Portioned up chicken and salmon into meal size quantities before freezing, also portioned up ham trimmings i got in aldi into 3 bags and froze, some bacon pieces i'd opened the other day have been diced up into small cubes and frozen ready to use in pasta or a pie, couple of left over tortilla wraps have been cut into small wedges and coated in a little oil, garlic salt and paprika and frozen, these are great thrown in the airfryer as they go nice and crispy and we have them with whatever dip is to hand, some past their best tomatoes and pepper have been cooked down with a red onion, garlic and basil, whizzed up and frozen and will use on a pizza. 3 Patty pan squashes from the garden have been cubed, blanched and frozen, these will get used in curries/soup later on the year.
Today I've picked another 2 PP squash, green beans, strawberries and first bag of home grown potatoes has been split open and really pleased as this bag has produced nearly 1 and half kilos of good sized spuds.

Afternoon all, quick update to keep me straight, NSD and £10 in from surveys which has gone straight to HP1.
Home day today, all floors hoovered and mopped, bathroom scrubbed, 3 loads of washing done so i now have ironing to do tomorrow. kitchen units washed down and skirting boards downstairs, couple of hours spent in the garden this afternoon, seem to have a caterpiller problem and they are munching away on the purple sprouting broc, keep picking them off and feeding them to the chucks. Garden has given me strawberries, salad leaves and green beans today. Girls have produced 2 eggs. Tonight we are having whoopsied fish cakes with yesterdays garden potatoes and green beans, strawberries and ice cream for pud so nice and frugal.
Soaked some lentils overnight and made lentil koftas for lunch in wraps with salad, also made some rocky road but half of it will be given to DS when he calls round later to take in his packed lunches.

I use this recipe on utubehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThFGhvQwoFs it does tend to get tweaked, sometimes i add fresh chilli when it's blended, extra garlic, if i don't have all the spices i just use curry powder.

Morning all, dogs fed and walked, chucks fed, DD has gone to work so i'm home alone although DH will be back for an hour at lunch. Feels hot out there today and think i'm going to change my linen pants for shorts.
Banking checked and regular saver has matured and interest added and interest has been moved over to HP2, this account is for my tax bill and christmas. I now need to open a new regular saver.
HP1 £1108
HP2 £1891
Checked garden whilst sorting chucks, noticed another PP squash needs picking, green beans and some strawberries look ripe so will do that later, also need some lettuce for lunchtime wrap.
More blinking caterpillers, these have been plucked and fed to the girls, who were scrapping over a big juicy one
Chicken Pasta on the menu for tonight, will include some squash, basil and spinach from the garden and i have some cream cheese that needs using up.
Washing machine is currently doing it's thing, also need to get the dog blankets washed whilst weather is nice.
But first breakfast, poached eggs on toast yum.

Thanks to the link to the video. They look delicious, will definitely add those to my recipe list. It’s so good to see recipes that don’t use eggs to bind. I detest eggs - don’t tell your chickens 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Morning all.
So yesterday Was a pottering kind of day, lots of little bits caught up on, made granola, listed 2 items on v1nted, gardening, read some of my current book and lots of little bits in between. Sat with DH yesterday evening in the garden and discussed holiday plans.
This morning I was up with the lark, dogs walked and fed, chucks sorted, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries picked.
Checked new Nectar offers on app and noticed they were offering 500 points if I linked my Nectar card to Marriott bonvey, took literally a minute to sign up and had 500 points added to my account straight away.
Sold an item I listed yesterday so parcelled that up. £6 for hols account when it clears.
DD had paid her board so decided to do a bit of looking at money/budget and worked out that if i used that money and some of next weeks grocery money I could pay the Mexico holiday, which I have done this morning. Means next weeks grocery budget is £40 and I have £5 left in Nectar points, going to be an eat it up week next week.
I nipped to the post office to post v1nted parcel and birthday card. Already had a card so just needed a stamp, didn't actually need to be posted until Monday but thought as i was going to the PO i might as well be organised, also meant I could send it 2nd class saving a few pennies and I used some change in my purse.
Nipped into Mr S for a couple of bits to see us into next week came to £10.24 so used £10 of points and only paid 24p from change in my purse.
Popped into Travel agents and paid balance on holiday and also enquired about a future holiday, they are going to send me some info, prices etc, it could be quite complicated as we want to go to Africa but want to go to a couple of different places and think it would be easier to get them to sort it all out, transfers, accommodation, trips etc.
So hols pots have now been renamed to Holiday spends and Holiday Africa.
H spends £54
H Africa £1891
Postie has just been and brought me some items to test, so that will save me a few pounds.
Work have messaged me with lots of extra dates for August so looks like I'm going to be busy.
