Today I am grateful for finishing my marking apart froma bit of admin, for a good sesh with the sewing machine as it'll now be hibernating until the kitchen is done, for a friend saying Pip can go round there anytime over the next 3 weeks, for a neighbour lending me a table and another neighbour taking the poster paints.

Good morning,

I better not linger here for long as the sun is out (won't be for long this weekend) and I want to start painting the shed (found paint while tidying up a while ago). The grass needs cut but I doubt it'll be dry enough any time this weekend. Also found an a bottle of Oven br1te last night and soaked the oven. So that'll get scrubbed later.

Need to do a shop today but did a meal plan etc so shouldn't be too bad.

Oh and we just don't talk about last night. Hubby was away anyway so I just went to bed after the first half.

Gratitude:

* kids getting more independent 
* having lost my phone (didn't realise how much time I spent on it and how much time I gained) 
* the variety of bird song in the garden

Got back from our wee break yesterday. It was lovely. We didn't do much, to be honest, but it was vey relaxing. Nice weather and some nice food.

Trying to get back to normal today but taking it easy. A bit of decluttering done and a plan to tackle the freezers.

How long is it till this football finishes? xx

Oh dear! The Euros end mid July and then there is football in the Olympics as well straight after, and then the next season starts again. It is a massive summer of football, nearly nonstop.  However none of it needs a subscription as it is all on BBC& ITV so book another holiday because it isn't going to stop.

Oh, f0xh0les, even a holiday isn't going to stop him. He'd find some way to watch it. We're on game no 2 today and he's just informed me that there's another one on later!!!!

This makes me so very, very, very grateful that Mr KK loathes football …..

I meant book a holiday and leave him to it, while you enjoy yourself! 😁 The matches are at 3pm 6pm and 8pm every day til 23rd June, then there are 2x 6pm and 2x9pm matches, so at least you can have him during the day.....  it finishes totally on 14th July, but there are no matches on 3/4 July so you won't miss any of the election fun!
My DH has just been expelled from the Chunnel, it isn't called the Chunnel anymore. Who knew?  
Sadly I am still COVID+ and now Ds2 is as well.  Looking forward to being bulletproof for the next 3+ months while the immunity lasts. 
Grateful for:  the chip in DHs wallet so I can track him ( he loses stuff so often we had to get a coin to pop in his wallet and on his keychain so his phone can tell him where he left his stuff 😔) all over Europe. 
A trip to the tip so DS3 could do my recycling 😷😷 and the hallway is now clearer.
The house not being too horrendous to clean whilst feeling a bit dizzy.

f0xh0les -  No point in going on my own. The house is in a bad enough state just now. God knows what I'd come back to if I left him by Himself. He probably wouldn't eat either.

Hope you are COVID free soon. You know, despite all my health problems in the last 18 months neither of us have had it (fingers crossed I've haven't put the hex on it). 

Himself is always forgetting where things are. He doesn't actually lose them. Just can't remember where he puts them and then says I must have moved them. It must be a man thing' xxx

Have you considered Bridgerton?  do you have a pile of 'to be read' books, and some headphones?  Lovely bubble baths and body creams and face masks?  Pamper yourself every night !  You are so worth it.
